Minecraft China Edition is officially listed as available only in China. If you are in China, use the official China Edition site to choose its PC or mobile download, then complete the required real-name verification before logging in. The official pages do not establish a supported way for players outside China to register or play.
Check whether you can access China Edition
Minecraft Help describes China Version as “Only available in China” and lists Windows, Android devices and Apple devices, with mc.163.com as the platform and store route. The listing does not explain overseas account eligibility or provide an officially supported external-access method. If you are outside China, do not assume you can register or play reliably.

Download from the official China Edition site
- Open the official Minecraft China Edition website.
- Choose the PC or mobile download option offered for your device. The homepage provides an “立即下载” (“Download now”) entry point.
- Install the version provided through the official route. Avoid third-party installer mirrors.
The operator describes Windows Bedrock and mobile players as able to play together. That statement does not establish Java Edition compatibility or compatibility with other regional editions.
Complete real-name verification before logging in
The operator states that accounts without real-name verification cannot log in: “未实名账号不能登录游戏。” The inspected official page does not detail every registration step or identify all accepted identity documents. Follow the current official account prompts, and do not use false identity information or rely on an unofficial workaround.

What you can do in the game
The operator describes exploring randomly generated worlds, interacting with creatures and items, building, and playing alone or with others. It also describes text and voice communication. Its page says Windows Bedrock players can cross-play with mobile users; it does not establish cross-play with Java Edition.
Know the posted rules for minors
As stated on the China Edition operator’s official page, accessed October 8, 2026, users under 8 cannot make in-game purchases. The page gives these purchase limits for minors:

The same page says minor players may log in from 20:00 to 21:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays. These rules can change, so check the current official page for the applicable terms.

Minecraft Help identifies China Version as a separate, region-limited edition. The official China Edition site describes Windows Bedrock/mobile cross-play, but the sources do not establish Java compatibility or whether accounts, worlds, or purchases transfer between China Edition and other editions. Treat them as separate unless the relevant official support pages confirm otherwise.
