You can play PK XD on both Windows and Mac using the game’s computer version, so an Android emulator is optional. Download the version for your computer from the official PK XD download page, install it, and sign in or create an account.
Install PK XD on Windows
- Open the official PK XD download page using the download button in PK XD Support’s computer installation instructions, then choose the Windows download.
- Open the downloaded file. PK XD Support says installation will happen automatically.
- Launch PK XD and sign in with your game account, or create an account.
Install PK XD on Mac
- Go to the official PK XD download page from the download button in PK XD Support’s instructions and choose the Mac download.
- Open the downloaded file and drag PK XD into Applications.
- Open PK XD. If your Mac asks whether to authorize the app, allow it to open.
- Sign in with your game account or create one.
Should you use an Android emulator?
An emulator is an alternative if you specifically want to run the Android app. BlueStacks’ instructions are to install BlueStacks, sign into Google Play, search for PK XD, install the game, and launch it. Because PK XD Support documents a direct computer version for Windows and Mac, you do not need an emulator just to play PK XD on a computer.

Protect your account and purchases
PK XD Support advises players not to give strangers personal details such as a real name, photo, or address, or share an email address or password. Its warning is direct: “No one on the PK XD team will ask for your password!” The support page also points to Android and Apple device controls that can help prevent unauthorized app-store purchases. Read PK XD Support’s safety guidance.
What happens to progress and purchases across platforms?
The installation instructions do not explain whether progress or purchases sync between the computer version and mobile versions. Do not assume that they transfer or sync; check with PK XD Support if this affects your decision to switch devices.
