This is PUBG MOBILE running through an emulator—not the separate native PC game PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
What happened to Tencent Gaming Buddy?
Tencent Gaming Buddy was the former name of GameLoop. That is why older tutorials may show the old name, an earlier interface, or installation steps that no longer match the current client. A file labeled “Tencent Gaming Buddy” on an unrelated download site is not verified by the old name; use GameLoop’s official page instead.
GameLoop’s official PUBG MOBILE page provides the download and installation route. GameLoop describes the download and play path as free; optional in-game purchases are a separate matter.
What you install—and what you do not
- You install GameLoop, a Windows emulator.
- GameLoop downloads PUBG MOBILE through its Game Center.
- You play the mobile game using an emulator layer with keyboard-and-mouse controls.
This is not PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the separate native PC title. GameLoop lists features including customizable key bindings, sensitivity controls, screen recording, multi-instance, and game-booster functions. Those are vendor-described features, not independent performance test results.

Check your PC before installing
GameLoop’s current PUBG MOBILE listing reports version 4.5.0, last updated July 9, 2026. Its published requirements are:

These are the figures on the official listing, not a guarantee of smooth performance in every configuration. The page does not list Windows 11, so its published requirements do not establish Windows 11 compatibility. Nor does the 1GB storage figure establish how much disk space the complete game, updates, temporary downloads, and cached resources need. Keep substantially more free space available, especially on the system drive.
- Use a 64-bit Windows installation and a PC that meets or exceeds the listed CPU, memory, and graphics requirements.
- Have a stable internet connection for downloading the emulator, game resources, patches, and account authentication.
- Allow for Windows permission prompts during installation; administrator permission may be needed.
- Hardware virtualization (VT) can help emulator operation and may be needed for some engine configurations.
How to download and install PUBG MOBILE with GameLoop
- Open the official GameLoop PUBG MOBILE page and use its download button. Check that the installer is obtained from the GameLoop domain.
- Run the downloaded
.exeinstaller. Choose an installation location if the installer offers one, then complete setup. - Launch GameLoop and open Game Center or its search field. Search for PUBG MOBILE.
- Select the official PUBG MOBILE listing and click Install. Wait for the client and required game resources to download.
- Choose Play or launch PUBG MOBILE from GameLoop. Sign in using an account method offered by the current client, then let any additional in-game resources finish downloading.
GameLoop’s page describes the essential sequence as installing GameLoop, searching for PUBG MOBILE, selecting Install, and playing; interface labels can change. Avoid third-party “Tencent Gaming Buddy” mirrors, unofficial 32-bit installers, modified clients, and “FPS boost” packages.

Set up and test keyboard-and-mouse controls
Before entering a ranked match, check that the game recognizes the keyboard and mouse and that the pointer behaves as expected. GameLoop’s older key-mapping guide describes opening the game’s controls settings, choosing the customize-controls option, entering key mapping, positioning keys over on-screen controls, and saving. Current labels may differ, but the goal is the same: map each action to the control you intend to use.
- Test movement, crouch, prone, jump, reload, weapon switching, map, inventory, firing, aiming, and vehicle controls.
- Check how to capture the mouse for aiming and release it to use GameLoop’s menus.
- Verify speaker and microphone selection, then test voice chat.
- Try the layout in Training Grounds or an unranked match before relying on it in ranked play.
Tune for consistent play, not a magic “pro” setting
No sensitivity value works for every player. Mouse DPI, resolution, available desk space, grip, and preferred weapons all affect how a setting feels. Change one group of settings at a time and practice before making another change.
- Stabilize frame rate first. Start with graphics and resolution your PC can sustain; consistent frame delivery is more useful for control than the highest visual setting your system can briefly reach.
- Calibrate aim methodically. Adjust camera and ADS sensitivities in small steps. Practice recoil control in Training Grounds rather than expecting a preset to do it for you.
- Keep input predictable. Disable operating-system or gaming-software mouse acceleration if you want a consistent relationship between mouse movement and aim. Use a polling rate and sensitivity your PC handles without instability.
- Reduce avoidable load. Close background downloads, unnecessary browser tabs, recording tools, and overlays while diagnosing stutter.
- Check audio before squad play. Confirm the correct headset devices and voice-chat settings, and use headphones if that helps you hear game cues.
- Keep the client clean. Do not use scripts, macros, “no recoil” tools, modified clients, matchmaking bypasses, or injected overlays.
Fix common GameLoop and PUBG MOBILE problems
GameLoop will not install
GameLoop lists installation errors, insufficient space, and download-server contact issues among its support topics. Close GameLoop and related background processes, obtain a fresh installer from the official page, and retry with appropriate Windows permissions. Check whether security software quarantined an installer component, confirm there is ample free space on the system drive, and try a different install path if an existing directory appears damaged. PUBG MOBILE is missing from Game Center
The catalog may vary by region or account region, or the issue may be temporary. Confirm you are searching for the right title, update GameLoop from its official source, and check the support center. Do not default to an unofficial APK or mirror.
The game is stuck at the launch screen
A GameLoop troubleshooting article published in 2021 suggests opening GameLoop settings, going to Engine settings, setting processor allocation to 4 where that option exists, enabling VT if the engine indicates it is needed, and restarting. The labels and options may not match the 2026 interface. If the issue persists, reinstall to another path. See the GameLoop launch-screen guidance.
Installation or extraction is stuck, or disk space is reported as insufficient
Downloads and extraction may require temporary working space beyond the final files. Free space on the system drive as well as the chosen install drive, remove incomplete GameLoop downloads, and avoid interrupting extraction or patching. Reinstall to a drive with adequate free capacity if needed. GameLoop’s support center lists insufficient-space and related PUBG MOBILE installation issues.

Low FPS, stutter, or delayed input
- Compare your PC with the published requirements and close unnecessary programs and overlays.
- Lower resolution and graphics quality, then restart GameLoop after major engine changes.
- Check that PUBG MOBILE is using the intended graphics processor and update drivers from the GPU manufacturer.
- Check VT and engine settings; reduce emulator resource allocation if your system is constrained by CPU or memory.
- Separate rendering trouble from network trouble: low FPS or stutter points to local rendering or emulator load; high ping or packet loss points to the network or server route; delayed mouse response can involve capture, frame timing, polling, or the emulator.
The GameLoop support center has separate topics for low FPS, VT, acceleration, ping, screen tearing, graphics drivers, and DirectX 11. A DirectX or graphics-card error should be diagnosed through those official support paths rather than by installing an unverified fix.
Audio or microphone does not work
Check the default Windows input and output devices, GameLoop audio permissions, and PUBG MOBILE voice-chat settings. Close other apps that may be holding the microphone and check for headset exclusive-mode conflicts. Note whether the failure affects all game audio or only voice chat; GameLoop lists listening and speaking failures in its technical support topics.

GameLoop’s official PUBG MOBILE page promotes GameLoop as its emulator route, but that does not mean every emulator, modification, or regional account circumstance is automatically covered. The PUBG MOBILE User Agreement includes broad restrictions concerning unauthorized third-party programs and also addresses emulation, mods, hacks, bots, automation, and interference with online play. Use the unmodified official client and follow the agreement that applies to your account and region.

PUBG MOBILE warned on November 14, 2019 that bypassing emulator detection was cheating. That is historical policy evidence, not a current penalty schedule; it is not a basis for claiming that ordinary GameLoop use automatically causes a ban or is guaranteed ban-proof. Avoid emulator-detection bypasses as well as cheats, macros, scripts, cracked clients, and matchmaking bypasses. The historical notice is available from PUBG MOBILE.
Tournament eligibility is a separate question from access to ordinary play. The cited official PUBG MOBILE competition rulebook says competitors may not use an emulator on a PC or another non-handheld device. Organizers can impose additional device, peripheral, and client rules, so do not assume GameLoop is permitted in an event.
