The US App Store listing describes slither.io as an online multiplayer game and says: “Now it is easier than ever to play with friends and find new players!” That confirms the game supports multiplayer and promotes playing with friends, but it does not specify the steps for joining a particular friend in the same match. The official pages referenced here do not document a party, invite, or same-server procedure. The official slither.io website provides the game entry interface, but no instructions for forming a group. If you need exact joining steps, check the current in-game help or official support information for your version rather than assuming that a particular menu or invite flow exists.
Why third-party party-mode tools are not a safe workaround
An unofficial Slither.io-Mods repository advertises features such as party mode, friend indicators, and direct server connections. Those are claims about a third-party modification, not confirmation of official features or permission to use it. The repository README is not an official source.

The official Terms of Service state: “You may not create, distribute, or operate any third-party applications, clients, emulators, scripts, bots, plugins, modifications, websites, APIs, services, or other mechanisms that connect to, interact with, replicate, mimic, or attempt to connect to the Services or the Proprietary Protocol.” For that reason, do not use an unauthorized mod, extension, script, bot, or client as a way to arrange a shared match.
Do you need a headset, controller, or other accessory?
No accessory requirement is established by the official listing. Slither.io is described as an online multiplayer game, and the listing mentions playing with friends; neither statement says a headset, controller, or other physical item is needed.
