Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars is a Game Boy Advance game, not a PC release. The practical way to play it on a modern PC is to use a GBA emulator such as mGBA and open a legally obtained game image. Konami’s PC listing for Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS is for a different game, not a PC port of The Fist of Mars.
Play it on PC with a GBA emulator
mGBA describes itself as an open-source Game Boy Advance emulator. Its project home page lists version 0.10.5, released March 8, 2025, as the latest release in the information available here. Check the project’s site for the current release and an installer or package for your operating system: mGBA official site.

The available documentation establishes mGBA’s purpose, but not a title-specific setup procedure, tested control layout, performance result, or compatibility status for The Fist of Mars. The steps above describe the general GBA-emulation route, not a tested claim that this particular game works perfectly on every PC.
There is no established native PC release of The Fist of Mars
The available reference record identifies The Fist of Mars as a single-player tactical role-playing game released for Game Boy Advance. It lists the release dates as September 27, 2001, in Japan; February 26, 2002, in North America; and June 7, 2002, in Europe. These dates come from a community-edited reference page, rather than a publisher archive: Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars reference page.
Konami’s official PC/Steam material is for Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS, a separate action game. Its Steam support information says that the PC version needs an online connection for its first launch and can then be played offline. Neither the listing nor that requirement applies to The Fist of Mars: Konami: Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner – M∀RS.

Between missions, players can buy or upgrade equipment, and the game includes saving. Those features belong to the GBA game; they do not indicate a separate PC edition.
Choose emulation or original hardware
Emulation
mGBA avoids the need to play on a Game Boy Advance, but requires a legally obtained game image and emulator setup. The sources available here do not establish the legal rules for making or using game copies in every jurisdiction. Owning a cartridge alone should not be treated as a universal answer to local copying laws.
Original hardware
You can also play from a GBA cartridge on compatible original hardware. Cartridge availability, authenticity, condition, regional stock, and prices have not been established here, so check those details before buying.
