The Battlefield 6 Open Beta preload began August 4, 2025, at 15:00 UTC (8:00 a.m. PT). Its public weekends ran August 9–10 and August 14–17, 2025, and have ended; the beta is no longer available to preload or play. EA supported PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app.
When could I download the Battlefield 6 beta?
EA announced that preload would begin as early as August 4, 2025, at 15:00 UTC (8:00 a.m. PT). That was the download start time EA published, not a current availability window. The Open Beta has since ended. EA’s Open Beta announcement listed the preload schedule and supported platforms.
Which platforms and PC stores were supported?
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, or the EA app
EA recommended linking your EA Account to your platform account before getting started. Its announcement did not specify historical store-search terms, buttons, or launcher menu paths, so there is no verified step-by-step store procedure to reproduce.
How did Open Beta access work?
Preloading and access were separate: having the game downloaded did not determine which beta period you could enter. EA announced these access windows:

No. The Open Beta dates have passed. The later October 10, 2025 launch was for the full Battlefield 6 game, not a continuation of the beta. EA says the full game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the EA app, and Epic Games Store, digitally and at retail.
