To loop Telugu devotional videos on YouTube Live, prepare video files you have permission to stream, add one file to an OBS Media Source with Loop enabled—or arrange several files in a VLC Video source with Loop Playlist enabled—then connect OBS to a YouTube stream and test the picture and sound. For a broadcast that truly stays live around the clock, the encoder, files, power and internet connection must also keep running; a looping playlist alone does not provide 24/7 uptime.
Prepare the videos and playlist
Put the finished video files somewhere the streaming computer can access reliably. Use clear filenames and arrange playlist items in the intended order. Before configuring OBS, play each file and check that both the picture and audio work from beginning to end.
The available setup guidance does not establish a special export resolution, bitrate or file format for Telugu devotional content. Choose settings appropriate for the footage and your channel, and test the actual files in OBS rather than assuming a particular preset is required.
Confirm you have permission to stream every element
Check permission for each recording, song, performance, image and video segment, including permission for live transmission and any copy you intend to retain or make available on demand. A devotional or religious purpose does not by itself establish those rights. The permissions required can depend on the material and jurisdiction, so resolve that for your specific assets before going live.

Choose the right OBS loop source

Loop a single video
- In OBS, select or create the scene that will carry the devotional video.
- In the Sources panel, select + and add a Media Source. Create a new source or select an existing one.
- In the source properties, choose the local video file and enable Loop.
- Confirm the video fills the canvas as intended. Adjust its placement or fit in the preview if needed.
- Play it in OBS and check that the image and audio continue correctly when it reaches the end.
Repeat several videos as a playlist
- Install VLC if it is not already installed; OBS needs it to provide the VLC Video source.
- In the Sources panel, select + and add a VLC Video source.
- Add the local video files to the source playlist and arrange them in the desired order.
- Enable Loop Playlist, then verify that the playlist advances through the files and starts over after the final item.
- Check the scene preview and audio for every item, especially if the files have different framing or sound levels.

Connect OBS to YouTube Live
- Enable live streaming ahead of time. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until the planned broadcast start.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or select the stream you intend to use.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in YouTube’s stream settings into the matching fields in OBS. YouTube describes the key as sensitive, like a password and address. Do not share it publicly; if it is compromised, use YouTube’s reset flow.
- Start the encoder and inspect YouTube’s preview. Confirm the video appears, the audio is audible, and the correct scene is being sent before starting the public live broadcast.
- Monitor the live output. Check that the source keeps playing and that the connection remains active after you begin.

Plan separately for continuous operation and archives
A correctly looping source only describes playback inside OBS. A local setup still depends on the computer, OBS, the media-file location, power and network staying available. Decide who will monitor the stream and how you will respond if playback or the connection stops; the cited encoder setup instructions do not promise uninterrupted 24/7 operation.

Plan the recording independently of the live loop. YouTube’s encoder help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; it does not establish that a single continuous broadcast longer than that will produce a complete archive. If a complete recording matters, arrange local recording or consider appropriately shorter broadcasts, and verify YouTube’s current workflow before launch.
Common problems and fixes
- The video stops at the end instead of repeating: Check that Loop is enabled on a Media Source, or Loop Playlist is enabled on a VLC Video source.
- VLC Video is missing from the source menu: Install VLC, then reopen OBS and check again.
- The playlist order is wrong or a file is missing: Recheck the file list and its order in the VLC Video source, then test the entire sequence.
- YouTube does not show the encoder feed: Confirm that the stream URL and key in OBS match the selected YouTube stream. Treat the key as a password; reset it in YouTube if it may have been exposed.
- The preview has no sound or the picture is framed incorrectly: Check the OBS audio meters and scene preview during a test, then correct the source or scene before going live.
- The channel stops being live even though the file loops: Check the computer, OBS, file availability, power and internet connection. Media looping cannot recover a failed machine or network by itself.
- The archive is incomplete after a long broadcast: YouTube’s cited automatic-archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours, not a continuous 24-hour broadcast. Use a separate recording plan if a complete copy is important.
