Under the latest official rules located, for Chapter 7 Season 3, qualifying for Fortnite’s Solo Victory Cup required reaching that event’s Battle Royale Ranked tier, then placing high enough on your region’s Round 1 leaderboard to advance. The required tier rose from Diamond to Unreal across the four events. Epic’s rules say dates can change and final session times appear in-game, so check the active tournament listing and its rulebook before entering.
What rank do you need?
Epic’s June 3, 2026 rulebook calls the event the Solo Victory Cup, rather than the “Solo Victory Cash Cup.” In Chapter 7 Season 3, the minimum rank depended on which of the four events you entered:
| # | Preview | Product | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $50.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 2 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $25.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 3 |
|
Fortnite Physical Gift Card | $30.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 4 |
|
Fortnite eGift Card | $15.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| 5 |
|
Fortnite Physical Gift Card | $50.00 | Buy on Amazon |
| Chapter 7 Season 3 event | Minimum Battle Royale Ranked tier |
|---|---|
| Event 1 | Diamond or higher |
| Event 2 | Elite or higher |
| Event 3 | Champion |
| Event 4 | Unreal |
These are season-specific thresholds, not a universal rank requirement. The rulebook specifies Solo and Battle Royale settings for this cup. Check the current event listing in Fortnite and the applicable official Chapter 7 Season 3 rules for the event you plan to play.
How do you make Round 2?
Play Round 1 within its session window
Round 1 lasted about two hours and allowed up to eight matches under the Chapter 7 Season 3 rules. A match counted only if it began before the session window closed, so leave time to start your final game rather than queueing at the deadline.

Score points and finish above your region’s cutoff
Round 1 awarded placement points and two points per elimination. The published scoring schedule gave 60 points for first place and one point for 50th. Advancing depended on your leaderboard placement in your region—not on passing another rank test.
| Region | Round 1 places that advanced |
|---|---|
| Europe (EU) | Top 4,000 |
| North America-Central (NAC) | Top 2,000 |
| OCE, ASIA, Middle East (ME), Brazil (BR), and North America-West (NAW) | Top 800 in each region |
The cutoffs are from the Chapter 7 Season 3 rules; they should not be assumed to apply to a later season or event. Epic’s official Solo Victory Cup rulebook contains the event’s format and advancement details.

What happens in Round 2?
Round 2 lasted about one hour and allowed up to three matches. Only Victory Royales counted for the cup’s Round 2 scoring; Epic defines these as first-place finishes. The published Chapter 7 Season 3 rules set a prize of $100 for each Round 2 Victory Royale, subject to the event’s eligibility and prize restrictions.
Check the other entry conditions
- Accept the event rules before participating. Minors need a parent or guardian’s permission and acceptance of the rules.
- Residents of Turkey and Russia were not eligible for prizes under the Chapter 7 Season 3 rules.
- Dates and times may change; Epic says final session dates and times are listed in-game. Confirm the active event’s schedule, rank threshold, region, and rules there before relying on details from a past season.
Why older guides say Gold rank
Gold rank was the entry threshold for the separate November 2025 Solo Series Victory Cash Cup, not the Chapter 7 Season 3 Solo Victory Cup. That earlier event had two qualifier sessions and a final, and its rules also included an account level of 350 and at least 14 distinct Epic tournaments in the prior 180 days. Those conditions belong to that specific 2025 event and should not be carried over to the later cup. See Epic’s November 2025 Solo Series Victory Cash Cups rules.
