How to open the Cloister’s hidden entrance
- Reach the statue from the outer walkway. Stay on the path around the Cloister and face the statue in the center.
- Inspect both pillar bases. Check the sides of each pillar beside the statue until you find the concealed switches. Gameranx advises checking all four sides of the pillars.
- Activate both switches. The wall between the pillars lowers, allowing you to walk into the central courtyard.
Destructoid’s walkthrough reports that interacting with the right pillar square and then the left worked for its author, but does not establish that this sequence is required. The puzzle clue is in a note in the Servant’s Quarters, which Gameranx calls the Maid Room. A Blue Prince Wiki.gg search excerpt paraphrases the clue as pressing the bases of the two pillars while facing the angel statue; that is secondary corroboration, not a verified exact quotation.
How to find and draft the Cloister
The Cloister is a Green Room. Destructoid reports that drafting it costs three gems. The guide also says a Terrace can remove gem costs on Green Rooms.
Destructoid recommends prioritizing Green Room drafts and suggests the Greenhouse or the Green Thumb book from a Secret Passage as ways to improve the chance of finding the room. These are chance-influencing suggestions, not guaranteed methods. A Wiki.gg search result describes the Cloister as a four-way room draftable in the center 21 tiles, but the page could not be directly accessed, so treat that placement detail as less firmly verified.

What’s inside the center
Behind the statue is an Allowance Coin, also called an Allowance Token in walkthroughs. Destructoid and Gameranx describe it as permanently adding two coins to your daily allowance. The enclosed area may also contain dig spots and a lore note; you need the in-game Shovel to dig the spots.
Sources and version context
The switch solution is described in walkthroughs by Destructoid (Kristina Ebanez, published and updated April 11, 2025) and Gameranx (Kevin Thielenhaus, May 7, 2025). Neither guide specifies a game version. The exact required order for activating the switches is not established.
