What you can recover depends on how you originally signed in. If your Call of Duty: Mobile progress was linked to Facebook or another account, sign in with that same identity. If you played as an unlinked guest and no longer have the device where the account was created, Activision does not document a guaranteed self-service recovery method; contact official support for an account-specific review.
First, identify how you signed in
Before troubleshooting, check whether the account was linked to Facebook or another sign-in option, or whether you chose to play as a guest. If an old device still opens the account, check it before logging out, uninstalling the game, or changing its linked accounts.

- Linked account: You need the same login identity that was associated with the progress.
- Guest account: If it was never linked and the original device is unavailable, ask Activision Support to review the case; restoration is not guaranteed in the official instructions.
- Wrong profile selected: Switch the active Facebook session, then sign in with the Facebook account originally used.
- Possible compromise: Use the hacked-account recovery route only if you believe someone took over the account.
Recover progress linked to Facebook or another account
Install or open Call of Duty: Mobile and sign in using the same account that held your progress. Activision says progress is tied to the original account; signing in with a different Facebook account will not transfer that progress. Its account-linking instructions were published in 2019, so particular menu labels may have changed.
If you reinstalled the game, Activision’s troubleshooting guidance, dated February 25, 2026, says deleting the app does not delete progress or other game data. Sign back in with the same account to reinstate access.

If Facebook opens the wrong profile
Activision’s published method is to remove Call of Duty: Mobile from Facebook’s Apps and Websites, sign out of Facebook in both the Facebook app and a browser, then relaunch COD Mobile and choose Facebook login. Exact labels can differ as Facebook updates its interface.
- In Facebook settings, remove Call of Duty: Mobile from Apps and Websites.
- Sign out of Facebook in the Facebook app and in any browser session on the device.
- Open Call of Duty: Mobile and select the Facebook sign-in option.
- When prompted, authenticate with the Facebook account originally linked to the game.
Removing the app connection or switching profiles does not move progress between Facebook accounts. If you cannot access the original Facebook identity, resolve that access issue with Facebook or contact Activision Support about the game account.

If the account was an unlinked guest
An unlinked guest account is not the same as progress attached to a Facebook or other sign-in identity. Activision’s published instructions do not establish a guaranteed way to restore an unlinked guest account after its original device is lost. Contact support and explain that it was a guest account; provide the identifying details support requests, but do not assume the account can be restored.
For in-game help, tap the question-mark icon at the top of the main lobby, as described in Activision’s COD Mobile troubleshooting article. If you cannot reach the lobby, use Activision’s account-management and support options, dated September 28, 2026, to choose the relevant account issue route.

If you suspect the account was hacked
Use Activision’s account recovery page if you believe the account was hacked or compromised. Activision distinguishes hacked-account requests from other account-access problems; for a forgotten login, wrong profile, or unlinked guest account, choose the standard account-help or support options instead.
