First identify which game your old farm was in: the original FarmVille 2 Facebook game or FarmVille 2: Country Escape on mobile. The Facebook game is now accessed through ZyngaGames.com; Country Escape restores progress through the account previously linked to the farm.

Zynga says the original FarmVille 2 is no longer available to play directly on Facebook. That change does not describe Country Escape; its recovery steps are separate.

Recover the original Facebook FarmVille 2 farm
- Go to ZyngaGames.com, choose Log In, then choose Connect with Facebook. Sign in with the Facebook account that was connected to the farm.
- If you want to sign in by email instead, choose Sign in with Email and enter the address registered to the Zynga account. If you never set a password, choose Forgot Password to create one. If you are unsure which email was registered, check the primary email on the Facebook account.
- If neither sign-in method works, contact Zynga support and provide at least two identifying details: account email, Player ID, farm name, player name, or the last payment receipt or amount.
Restore FarmVille 2: Country Escape on a mobile device
- Open Country Escape while connected to the internet. If the game prompts you to download a content update, accept it and let the game restart and sync.
- Play through the tutorial until the gear or settings icon appears.
- In settings, sign in with the same Facebook, Game Center, or Google Play account that was linked to the farm with your saved progress. Allow time for synchronization.
Moving the farm to another device
For a new iPhone or iPad, use the same Game Center account; for a new Android device, use the same Google Play account. Those platform services do not transfer a farm between iOS and Android. Zynga identifies Facebook as the option for using previously linked progress across platforms.

If the old farm does not appear
- Check that you selected the right game and signed into the exact account originally linked to that farm. A different Facebook profile, Apple Game Center account, or Google Play account will not retrieve that saved progress.
- For Country Escape, confirm the device is online, accept any offered content update, complete the tutorial until settings is available, and wait after signing in for the game to sync.
- For the Facebook game, try the registered-email sign-in and password reset if Facebook login fails.
- Avoid uninstalling Country Escape while troubleshooting if possible. Zynga warns that reinstalling can create a new Player ID or a new game on the device; after reinstalling, you may need to reach level 4 before Facebook, Game Center, or Google access becomes available.
- Zynga says only one Country Escape farm can be associated with each Facebook, Game Center, or Google Play account. If the expected farm still is not available, stop before making further changes and contact official support with the account details you have.
