How to enter a code or claim an internet gift
- Start Pokémon Legends: Z-A and play until Mystery Gift becomes available. The Pokémon Company estimates that this takes approximately one hour of play. Official early-purchase instructions
- Connect your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 to the internet, and make sure the console user profile you are playing on is linked to a Nintendo Account. These are stated prerequisites for the gifts covered here. Official early-purchase instructions
- Open Mystery Gift. Choose Get with Code/Password to enter a serial code or password. Choose Get via Internet for an internet-distributed gift, such as the former Ralts offer. Early-purchase instructions; Charizard event instructions
- Check the specific offer’s eligibility and dates before attempting to claim it. A valid menu path cannot make an expired code or ended distribution usable.
Which Pokémon Legends: Z-A bonuses are still available?
The following launch and event offers are no longer claimable as of October 8, 2026. A later UK and Ireland bundle offer is announced for October 29, 2026; its regional terms are detailed below.

Ralts holding Gardevoirite
This early-purchase gift was available to physical and digital buyers of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Players claimed it through Mystery Gift’s Get via Internet option by February 28, 2026. The offer has expired. The official announcement also notes that Gardevoirite can be obtained during normal gameplay; if a Pokémon already holds one, the gifted Ralts would arrive without it. 100 Poké Balls for digital purchases
Eligible digital purchases made by February 28, 2026 included purchases made by redeeming a download card or download code from a shop or online retailer. The serial code was sent to the email address associated with the Nintendo Account and was valid through March 10, 2026. It could be used once and not reused in another save file. Alpha Charizard password event
The password B1G0006 was for the Alpha Charizard distribution, which ran from December 9, 2025 through January 19, 2026. Its route was Mystery Gift → Get with Code/Password, and it was single-use per save data. The event is over, so entering the password now will not claim the Charizard. Mega Dimension Luxurious Poké Ball Set
Purchases of Mega Dimension by February 28, 2026 qualified for an emailed, single-use serial code for three each of Fast Balls, Lure Balls, Level Balls, and Heavy Balls. Upcoming UK and Ireland bundle bonus
A Pokémon UK and Ireland announcement dated September 30, 2026 says the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle is scheduled to release on October 29, 2026. The bundle includes the game and DLC on one game card. Buyers are to receive a serial code for 100 Ultra Balls. This is a separate offer from the expired 100 Poké Ball digital-purchase promotion.
- The announced offer is regional: the cited terms are for the UK and Ireland, not a worldwide guarantee.
- The announcement gives no expiration date for the Ultra Ball code.
- To receive the items, the announcement specifies an internet connection and a user profile linked to a Nintendo Account; it says a Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required.
- Mystery Gift is accessible after approximately one hour of play.

If a code or gift does not appear
- Mystery Gift is missing: continue playing; the official pages estimate approximately one hour of play before the feature unlocks. Early-purchase instructions
- The game cannot connect: confirm the console is connected to the internet and that the active console user profile is linked to a Nintendo Account.
- A code is rejected: check that you selected Get with Code/Password, entered the code for the correct offer, and are within its validity period. The Charizard password and listed early-purchase codes have expired.
- You bought a qualifying digital offer but cannot find its code: the 100 Poké Ball and Luxurious Poké Ball Set codes were emailed to the address associated with the Nintendo Account. Their validity ended March 10, 2026, so locating an old code does not restore eligibility.
