Access to the main screen
Do not look for the exchange box on the title screen. Finish loading into the character view and reach the normal main interface. The profile icon is in the upper-left corner; Benefits is shown beneath it when the feature is available.
The Benefits feature may be locked
New accounts may not see Benefits immediately. The October 11, 2026, Pocket Gamer instructions say that players should progress through the main story first and may reach the unlock around character level 50. That is guidance from that version of the game, not a guaranteed threshold for every account, region, server, or later update. If your character is below that point, continue the required story missions and check the upper-left menu again.

Enter the letters and numbers as supplied. Pasting avoids confusing similar characters, such as the number zero and the letter O. 1. Launch the game and load your character
Open MU: Dark Awakening on your iPhone or iPad and wait until the character reaches the main game screen. If the game is still showing a sign-in, loading, or server-selection page, the Benefits control will not be available yet.
2. Open Benefits
Look beneath the profile icon in the upper-left corner. Tap Benefits. This is the menu used for promotional and event-related claims, including the code exchange panel.

3. Scroll to Other
Benefits can contain several categories. Scroll within the panel until you see Other. The code field is located there, not in the mailbox and not in the character inventory.
4. Enter the code and choose Exchange
Tap the code field, type or paste one code, and tap Exchange. Wait for the game’s response before trying another entry. A successful exchange is the point at which the server accepts the code; merely typing it into the box does not grant anything.
5. Collect the reward message
Return to the main screen and tap the mailbox icon in the upper-right corner. Open the message labeled Pack Rewards, then claim the attached items. The rewards are delivered through this message rather than appearing automatically in the inventory at the instant you press Exchange.
6. Repeat for additional valid codes
Submit codes one at a time so that you can identify which entry produced each response. After each accepted exchange, check Pack Rewards before moving on. A code can be listed as active by a guide and still fail for your account because of expiration, region, server, or account restrictions.

FingerFun’s official regional game site displays the gift code MU4DARK alongside a virtual reward bundle.
