Check what kind of Roblox code you have
Roblox’s redemption page accepts several code types, but they do not all provide the same reward. A promo code may award credit, Robux, or a virtual item, depending on the code. A virtual-item code is for an item. Gift cards generally add Roblox credit, while some digital and retail codes redeem for Robux only.

Characters are difficult to distinguish
Roblox’s gift-card troubleshooting points out that characters such as 0 and O, or 1 and I, can be confused. Check the code carefully if its characters are ambiguous; that guidance is specifically for gift-card codes.
The virtual item is missing
Check the inventory category that matches the item. A virtual-item code can be redeemed only once per account. If the account already owns that item, Roblox says the code can be shared with another user.
