Start with teleport (or blink) movement and snap or segmented turning, then play in short sessions. If you prefer smooth locomotion, use the strongest available vignette, keep speed constant, avoid acceleration, and turn your body whenever practical. Stop at the first sign of nausea rather than trying to push through it.
Use this comfort setup first
Arizona Sunshine Remake supports the locomotion choices that matter most for comfort, but the exact wording and placement can differ by headset, platform and remake build. Open the game’s movement, locomotion or comfort menu and select the closest available options.

| Setting | Starting choice | Why it can help | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Movement | Teleport or blink | Removes most continuous visual motion between positions, reducing the amount of optic flow your eyes see. | Movement is less continuous and can feel less natural than walking with the stick. |
| Turning | Snap or segmented rotation | Short, discrete turns usually create less sustained visual rotation than smooth turning. | An abrupt snap can briefly disorient some players. |
| Field-of-view restriction | Vignette, tunnel vision or blinders on during movement | Narrows peripheral motion cues while you travel. | You see less of the scene during movement. |
| Speed | Low, steady speed | A constant horizon and speed reduce the mismatch between visual motion and what your inner ear senses. | Traversal takes longer. |
| Acceleration | Off or minimal, if the option exists | Starting and stopping smoothly avoids sudden changes in optic flow. | Movement may feel less responsive. |
Meta’s Horizon OS developer guidance calls snap turn the comfort option and says it minimizes motion sickness. Google’s Android XR design guidance likewise says tunnel vision can help by narrowing the field of view during movement. Those are general VR comfort recommendations, not a guarantee that any one setting will eliminate symptoms in this game.

Motion sickness in VR usually comes from a sensory mismatch: your eyes report that the world is moving, while your vestibular system and body report that you are sitting or standing still. Smooth joystick travel supplies a continuous stream of visual motion, or vection. Smooth rotation adds another source of movement, especially when the horizon sweeps across your peripheral vision.

Teleportation interrupts that continuous flow. Snap turning does the same for rotation by showing a new view in discrete steps instead of rotating the world through every intermediate angle. A vignette limits the peripheral image, where motion is most noticeable. Keeping speed and the horizon steady reduces additional changes that can make the mismatch harder to tolerate.
There is no published, controlled percentage for motion sickness specifically in Arizona Sunshine Remake. Individual tolerance varies with the player, headset, frame rate, room conditions, session length and the type of movement being used.
Teleport or smooth movement: choose the least provocative option
Teleport or blink movement
Choose teleport first if you are new to VR, have become sick in the game before, or are returning after symptoms. Point to a valid location, activate the teleport command, and let the game place you there. Move in short hops rather than repeatedly chaining long teleports while turning your head.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Keep your head level while aiming at the destination.
- Pause for a moment after each teleport so your visual system can settle.
- Use your real body to face a new direction when space allows, instead of teleporting and immediately rotating with the stick.
- If a teleport arc or landing animation makes you uncomfortable, shorten the distance and reduce the number of consecutive moves.
Teleportation is not automatically comfortable for everyone. The sudden change in position can briefly disorient some players, and the game’s exact teleport behavior may differ between builds. If a blink feels worse than slow continuous travel for you, test the alternatives in a safe area for only a few minutes.
Smooth or walking locomotion
Walking locomotion gives you continuous control and is useful when you need precise positioning, but it also creates the most sustained optic flow. If you select it, begin at the lowest practical speed and use a constant input rather than repeatedly tapping the stick. Avoid rushing, backing up and changing direction in quick succession until you know your tolerance.

Arizona Sunshine’s official PlayStation information describes a choice between “teleporting or walking locomotion.” In the remake, look for equivalent labels such as teleport, blink, smooth movement or walking. Do not assume that a setting shown in a platform video exists under exactly the same name in your build.
When to switch
Use teleport for your first sessions and for any mission or encounter that starts to provoke symptoms. Consider smooth movement only after you can complete several short sessions without discomfort. Change one setting at a time; otherwise you will not know which adjustment helped or hurt.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesSnap or segmented turning versus smooth turning
Snap or segmented rotation
Set rotation to snap or segmented mode and choose the smallest angle that still lets you orient yourself comfortably. Press once, let the view settle, then press again. This avoids watching the entire environment rotate continuously.
Snap rotation can feel abrupt. If each snap leaves you disoriented, use a larger but less frequent turn, slow your physical movement, or combine snap rotation with turning your body. The goal is to reduce continuous visual rotation without creating a sequence of confusing, rapid jumps.
Smooth rotation
Smooth rotation is the most natural-looking option for many players, but it can be a strong trigger because the horizon moves continuously. If you need it for aiming or navigation, set the slowest speed that remains usable, rotate for brief intervals, and release the stick before you feel strain.

Arizona Sunshine’s published control description also lists “smooth or segmented rotation.” “Segmented” is the same general comfort idea as snap turning, although the exact angle and timing are implementation details of the game and platform.
Physical turning
Turn your torso and feet in the real world whenever your play space is safe and large enough. Physical rotation preserves a closer match between what your eyes see and what your balance organs detect. Keep the headset cable, furniture, pets and other people outside your turning area. If you cannot turn safely, use snap rotation rather than forcing a twist or reaching behind yourself.
Vignette, tunnel vision and blinders
Enable any option named vignette, tunnel vision, blinders or comfort field of view while using continuous movement. The effect masks or narrows the outer part of the image during travel, reducing the peripheral motion cues that often intensify vection.
Start with the strongest restriction available, then widen it gradually only after comfortable sessions. Use the restriction during movement rather than judging it while standing still; many players notice the benefit only when the scene is actually moving. If the vignette itself causes eye strain, flashing, or a feeling of being boxed in, lower its strength or disable it and return to teleport movement.
A vignette does not correct a low frame rate, tracking problem or poor headset fit. Treat it as one layer of comfort, not a substitute for stable performance and sensible pacing.

Speed, acceleration and the horizon
Keep speed predictable
Choose a speed you can maintain without repeatedly pushing and releasing the stick. Constant speed is easier to tolerate than a series of abrupt starts, stops and reversals. If the game exposes separate acceleration or deceleration controls, turn them off or reduce them. If it does not, make your own inputs gradual: begin moving, hold a steady direction, and stop before you need to brake suddenly.
Protect a level horizon
Keep your head upright and your gaze near the horizon while moving. Looking sharply down at the ground or up at the sky while the world travels can add conflicting visual cues. Avoid fast head movements during a smooth move; stop, look, then move again when possible.
Android XR guidance identifies a steady horizon, constant speed and snap rotation as ways to reduce sensory mismatch. These principles apply to the visual design of Arizona Sunshine Remake even though the guidance is not a game-specific clinical test.
Be cautious with lifts and scripted camera motion
Rides, elevators, forced camera pans and other scripted movement can take control away from you. Until you know your tolerance, approach them rested and avoid combining them with smooth joystick movement or rapid head turns. If a sequence begins to make you feel unwell, keep your head still, focus on a stable part of the scene, and stop playing as soon as the sequence ends—or remove the headset if symptoms are increasing.
A step-by-step setup routine
- Open the comfort controls. From the game’s settings or pause menu, find movement, locomotion, rotation or comfort options. Labels vary by platform and remake build.
- Select teleport or blink. Leave smooth or walking movement off for the first test session.
- Select snap or segmented rotation. Use a moderate interval rather than holding a smooth-turn input.
- Enable the strongest practical vignette. If the menu offers tunnel vision or blinders, use that effect while moving.
- Reduce speed and acceleration. Choose a low constant speed and disable acceleration or deceleration controls where available.
- Check your play space. Clear the floor, secure cables and make sure you can turn your body without hitting anything.
- Test for a few minutes. Walk, turn, aim and stop. Do not begin a long mission until you know the combination feels stable.
- Change one variable at a time. If you are comfortable, widen the vignette, increase speed or test smooth movement in separate short sessions.
Session pacing that prevents a bad spiral
Play before you feel tired, overheated or dehydrated. Begin with a short session and end while you still feel normal. A first sign of queasiness, sweating, headache, eye strain, unusual salivation, disorientation or a warm flush is a stop signal—not a challenge to overcome.

- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Remove the headset, sit or stand somewhere stable, and rest until the symptoms have completely cleared before trying again. Continuing while you feel sick can make the next session start with a lower tolerance. Resume with a gentler setup: teleport instead of smooth movement, snap instead of smooth rotation, a stronger vignette and a shorter session.
Do not use a fan, anti-nausea wearable, medication or other accessory as a proven fix for this game. Comfort configuration and pacing are the measures established for this problem; anything else should be treated as a personal experiment and not a guarantee.
Troubleshooting by symptom
Nausea appears during smooth travel
- Switch to teleport or blink immediately.
- Enable or strengthen the vignette.
- Lower speed and remove acceleration.
- Use shorter travel intervals and keep your head level.
Dizziness appears when turning
- Change smooth rotation to snap or segmented rotation.
- Turn your body physically when safe.
- Use fewer, slower snaps instead of repeated quick presses.
- Stop if the room still feels like it is moving after you remove the headset.
Teleporting feels disorienting
- Use shorter teleports and pause after landing.
- Keep your gaze forward while selecting a destination.
- Try a small amount of smooth movement at a constant speed only after symptoms have cleared.
You feel eye strain or visual discomfort
- Stop the session and rest.
- Check that the headset is fitted securely and that the view is clear.
- Reduce movement, avoid rapid head turns and test again only when comfortable.
You feel sick during a scripted ride or lift
- Keep your head and horizon steady.
- Do not add joystick movement or smooth turning during the sequence.
- End the session if symptoms worsen, and return later with teleport and snap settings.
Platform and build differences
The remake is available across VR platforms whose menus and comfort implementations are not identical. A setting may be called teleport, blink, walking, smooth movement, snap turn, segmented rotation, vignette, tunnel vision or blinders. The official control descriptions establish the broad choices, but they do not guarantee identical names, angle increments, speed ranges or acceleration toggles in every build.
If an option is missing, use the closest comfort equivalent: teleport instead of walking, segmented instead of smooth rotation, and any field-of-view restriction instead of none. Do not infer that an absent option means the platform is malfunctioning; verify the current in-game menu and platform documentation first.
When to stop experimenting
Stop playing for the day if symptoms do not clear with rest, return immediately each time you put the headset on, or include severe headache, faintness, persistent vomiting, unusual vision changes or other concerning symptoms. VR comfort settings are practical precautions, not medical treatment. If symptoms persist outside play, seek appropriate medical advice.
Bottom line
For the most reliable starting point, use teleport or blink movement, snap or segmented turning, a vignette during travel, low constant speed and minimal acceleration. Keep the horizon level, turn your body when safe, avoid forced camera motion until you know your tolerance, and stop at the first symptom. Once several short sessions are comfortable, change only one setting at a time if you want the continuous control of smooth movement.
