You can still try to recover your Steam account if you cannot access its email. Start with Steam’s official Help site and follow the forgotten account name or password prompts. If automatic recovery does not work, Steam provides a Support intake form; if the issue is specifically missing Steam Guard email and you can use a phone number already attached to the account, there is also an SMS-confirmed email reset.
Choose the recovery route that matches your situation

Try Steam’s account-recovery prompts first
- Open Steam Support’s sign-in help and select the forgotten account name or password option.
- Enter a login name, email address, or phone number when prompted. Steam’s account search may ask for an email address even if it is not the current address on the account. Follow the prompt; if you do not know the old address, try your current address when directed, as Steam says that may help locate the account or offer another lookup option.
- Continue with the recovery choices Steam presents. If the automatic process cannot recover the account, proceed to the Support intake form rather than starting over repeatedly.
Contact Steam Support if the automated process fails
Steam says you can contact Support for account recovery even if you have forgotten the account’s email address, password, and phone number. When the help-site process cannot recover an account automatically, it presents an intake form to contact the Support team.
Provide as much accurate information as you can, including possible Steam login names and email addresses used on the account, plus available evidence that helps establish ownership. Steam requests ownership proof, but its guidance does not say that any single item guarantees recovery. Submit truthful details and respond to any case-specific requests from Support.
If the problem is Steam Guard email, try the phone route
If you can access a phone number already attached to the account and the issue is that Steam Guard emails are not arriving, Steam documents a browser-based way to reset the email address and confirm the change by SMS. This route is specific to that situation; it is not a general substitute for account recovery when no phone number is attached or available.

If you suspect your account was stolen
Use Steam’s stolen or hijacked account recovery path if someone may have taken over the account or changed its details. Steam says Support can recover an account after verifying ownership. Provide the requested information through the official process.
