Do not try to find, copy, or share a Roblox security cookie. A login cookie can act as sensitive authentication material. To check account access safely, sign in to Roblox and go to Settings > Security > Where you’re logged in, where you can review and end sessions.
What people mean by a Roblox security cookie
Cookies are files a website stores on your device. Roblox’s Privacy and Cookie Policy explains that cookies can remember login details for convenience. It distinguishes session cookies, which it says are deleted when the browser closes, from persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period. A login cookie is therefore not a harmless setting to inspect or share: treat it like a credential.
Roblox Support warns: “Never give out your password, browser cookies, 2SV security codes, backup codes, personal details, or sensitive computer information either.” Roblox also says staff will never ask for this information. The safe way to answer the underlying question—who is signed in to your account?—is to use Roblox’s session controls, not to expose a cookie.
How to review and end Roblox sessions
- Sign in using the official Roblox website or official Roblox app. Roblox advises entering login information only through those channels.
- Open Settings, select Security, then scroll to Where you’re logged in.
- Review each listed session. Roblox says the page shows the device, approximate regional location, and last-active time. Open a session to see its details; log out any session you do not recognize. You can also choose Log Out of All Other Sessions.
Some older sessions may have incomplete details or show “Unknown.” That label by itself does not establish who used the account. If a session is suspicious, end it and secure the account rather than trying to identify or retrieve its cookie.

What to do if your Roblox account may be compromised
If you see unfamiliar activity or cannot access the account, follow Roblox’s official “My account was hacked – What do I do?” guidance:
- Remove downloads or browser extensions from outside Roblox that you do not trust, then run a full virus scan.
- Reset your password to a strong, unique one that you do not use on other sites.
- Enable 2-Step Verification (2SV) using an option available to your account.
- If you cannot reset the password or regain access, contact Roblox Support. Roblox says the original account email or first billing email can help verify ownership, but providing either does not guarantee recovery.
Choose an account-protection method that fits your devices
Roblox documents authenticator-app, email, and security-key options for standard 2SV in its 2-Step Verification guide. Its Enhanced Protection mode requires phishing-resistant methods such as device-bound passkeys or hardware security keys. Roblox lists prerequisites including a passkey, verified email, and either a verified phone number or backup codes; enable it via Settings > Security if your account meets the requirements shown there.

Roblox says passkeys use public-key cryptography to protect against phishing and credential-stuffing attacks. Its passkey guidance covers iOS devices, supported web browsers, and FIDO2-compliant hardware keys; exact availability depends on device and platform. Add a passkey only on a device you personally own: someone who can unlock a shared device may be able to access the account. A hardware key can also be lost or damaged, so keep the recovery information Roblox requires.
- Authenticator app or email: Roblox documents these for standard 2SV. Choose an option you can reliably access when signing in.
- Passkey: A phishing-resistant option where supported. Consider who can unlock the device holding it and how you would recover access if the device is lost.
- Hardware security key: Roblox identifies this as a phishing-resistant option; check that your key, device, and account settings are compatible, and plan for loss or damage.
A hardware key is not required simply to protect an account: use the 2SV or passkey options available to you and make sure your recovery method remains accessible.
