You can sell eligible physical products from a Shopify catalog inside a Roblox game through Roblox Commerce. The setup connects your Shopify store to Roblox, imports selected products into Creator Hub, and adds an in-game purchase prompt. It is not an open storefront available to every merchant: creator, game, product, and buyer eligibility rules apply.
This guide covers the physical-goods route. Selling avatar items through Roblox Marketplace is a separate creator workflow, and exchanging eligible Robux for money through DevEx is separate again.

How Shopify sales work inside Roblox
Roblox describes Shopify as its first integrated partner for physical-product sales in games. The product remains a real-world item in your Shopify catalog; Roblox provides the in-game commerce presentation and purchase flow. See the Roblox Commerce products guide and Roblox monetization documentation for current setup details.
- Connect the store: In Creator Dashboard, connect your Roblox account to the Shopify store through the Roblox sales channel. You must be the store account holder or have that holder’s written permission.
- Import catalog products: Select the Shopify items you want to bring into Roblox. Product information and presentation draw on the store catalog.
- Create Commerce products: In Creator Hub, configure the imported items as commerce products and make them available for sale.
- Add the purchase flow to the game: Implement an in-game purchase prompt using CommerceService, following Roblox’s current technical guide. A product appearing in Creator Hub alone does not create an in-game shopping experience.

Check whether your store, account, and game qualify
Roblox’s current Commerce documentation, accessed in 2026, sets eligibility conditions for creators, experiences, and buyers. Meeting the creator requirements does not by itself guarantee approval of a product or access for every player.
Creator and store requirements
- You must be at least 18.
- Your Roblox account must have verified ID and email, two-step verification enabled, and remain in good standing.
- You must be the registered account holder for the linked Shopify store or have written permission from that holder.
- You must submit the required business information.
- Additional permissions apply when working through group settings.
Game requirements
The experience must be public, have a content maturity label after you complete Roblox’s questionnaire, and comply with Roblox standards. Review the experience and Commerce requirements in the Commerce products documentation before building around this sales channel.

Buyer geography and age
The cited Roblox documentation says Commerce purchases are currently available only to users based in the United States. Buyers generally must be at least 13; the minimum age is 18 in Texas. Developers should use PolicyService to determine whether a particular player is eligible. Do not assume a Roblox audience in another country, or every player in an eligible country, can complete a purchase.
Make listings accurate and policy-compliant
Roblox Commerce Standards require clear, accurate product listings and required legal disclosures in the shopping and checkout flow. The listing should give buyers the information they need to understand what they are ordering, including applicable images, price, functionality, specifications, features, return or exchange policy, origin, and brand or manufacturer details. The store owner must authorize the connection, and listings must not direct users to unauthorized URLs.

Roblox prohibits certain products and listing categories, including adult sexual products, alcohol and alcohol-related products, live animals, services, tobacco and entheogens, and weapons and related items. Digital bonuses are a separate, restricted feature
A physical product bundle does not automatically let a merchant include a virtual benefit. Roblox documents a qualification route that includes more than 100,000 average daily active users over the last 90 days, more than 1,000,000 Robux in average monthly earnings over the last 90 days, and a qualifying bundle sale within three months. An alternative route requires a written Roblox agreement and at least $50,000 USD in annual ad spend. Bundles also have additional content and fulfillment rules; consult the current Commerce guidance for the full conditions.

Roblox’s documentation explains a connection and implementation path, but it does not provide a reliable sales forecast, conversion rate, or typical merchant income for Shopify Commerce. The eligibility thresholds for virtual benefits and DevEx are policy criteria, not evidence of expected product sales. Treat Commerce as a sales channel to evaluate against your own audience, eligible products, fulfillment capacity, and game experience—not a promise of revenue.
