Connect the G923 to your PC
- Secure the wheel. Place the base on a stable desk or table and use its built-in clamps. Push down and rotate each clamp knob to lock or unlock it, then turn the knob to tighten or loosen the clamp. Logitech advises removing the clamp extenders when mounting on a thicker table.
- Connect the pedals to the wheel base. The pedals plug into the base, not directly into the computer. Route the pedal cable through the base’s inner cable channel.
- Connect the power adapter. Plug the supplied adapter into the wheel base and a power outlet. The G923 needs this power connection as well as USB.
- Connect USB to the PC. Plug the wheel’s USB cable into a USB port on the computer. Logitech recommends routing USB through the inner cable channel and power—and an optional shifter cable—through the outer channel.
- Let calibration finish. When connected, the wheel rotates fully to each side and then returns to center. Logitech’s guide says this is the normal calibration process; leave it unobstructed until it stops and is ready.
For the Xbox/PC G923 variant, Logitech lists Windows 10 and Windows 11, a USB port, 150 MB of available disk space, and a compatible force-feedback game as PC requirements. Its specifications describe a wired USB 2.0 connection, up to 900 degrees of rotation, and a 24V, 1.75A autoswitching AC adapter. Install G HUB and check the wheel and pedals
Install Logitech G HUB from Logitech’s official G923 support and download route. Logitech says PC users need G HUB to enable force feedback and RPM LEDs. It also provides controls for wheel rotation and sensitivity, pedal sensitivity, and TRUEFORCE strength where supported.
After installation, open the G923 in G HUB and use its wheel and pedal screens to test buttons and axes. Turn the wheel and press each pedal; verify that the on-screen inputs respond. If the inputs register there, proceed to your game’s control setup.

Configure the wheel in your racing game
Open the game’s input, controller, or wheel settings and select or bind the G923 controls as needed. Game support determines whether the wheel’s standard force feedback works, and TRUEFORCE requires integration with the specific title. Check the game’s supported-wheel information rather than assuming every racing game enables every G923 feature.
Troubleshoot a G923 that is not detected or responding
- Recheck the physical connections. Confirm the pedals connect to the wheel base, and that both the power adapter and USB are connected. Reconnect if necessary, then allow the full calibration movement to finish.
- Check G HUB. Confirm the software recognizes the wheel and use its input screens to test the buttons, wheel axis, and pedals.
- Check Windows’ controller list. Logitech’s connection guidance recommends checking whether the device and its inputs appear in Windows’ native controller module. If it is missing there, focus on the connection and device-recognition steps before changing game settings. See Logitech’s G923/G29/G920 connection troubleshooting guide.
- Check the game’s support and bindings. Confirm the title supports the wheel and that its wheel controls are configured. TRUEFORCE may not be available in every title.
- Leave registry changes for advanced troubleshooting. Logitech associates Registry Editor steps with calibration problems or a blank Windows controller test page; they are not part of routine setup. Follow Logitech’s troubleshooting guidance before attempting them.
Check which G923 version you have
Logitech’s US product page lists PlayStation/PC, Xbox/PC, and PC-only choices in the G923 family. Check the label and compatibility information for your exact wheel rather than assuming that console-specific controls are interchangeable.
