You can play Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S with a standard controller; the official Xbox listing also identifies controller play for Cloud Gaming. No special Quidditch-branded controller is required. To get comfortable, finish or leave the opening tutorials, open the game’s Settings and controls list, then choose and adjust one of its two control presets.

How to set up the controls

- Open Settings and the controls list. Follow the game’s on-screen prompts; the official support information does not publish a full Xbox gameplay button map or exact menu-navigation sequence. - Choose a preset to try. Select based on which control style feels familiar to you; neither is identified as objectively better.
- Adjust individual options only if needed. Change steering sensitivity, inversion, toggle behavior, or vibration to suit your preferences. Check the controls list and any on-screen prompts as you practice.
- Enable input reminders if you want prompts during play. You can also replay tutorials in Cup mode and revisit the controls list when an assignment is unclear.
Which control preset should you choose?

What control settings can you tune?
- Bindings: Remap certain actions; not every action is stated to be remappable.
- Steering sensitivity: Adjust how responsive steering feels. The official settings also list Keeper-specific strafe sensitivity.
- Vertical inversion: Invert up/down steering for Chaser, Bludger, and Seeker; Keeper has a separate inversion option.
- Toggle options: Toggle selected actions so you do not need to keep holding an input. The source does not specify that every action has a toggle.
- Vibration: Disable or adjust controller vibration.

Which buttons do I press?
The official Xbox button examples available here are for the mail interface, not a Quidditch match. In the main menu, press in the Left Stick to open mail, press Y to choose the Mail Code prompt, then press A to redeem an entered code. Do not use those menu actions as a gameplay control map.

Does online play affect the setup?
