Road Trip: Ford is worth considering if you want to drive licensed cars, take smaller courier jobs, customize vehicles, or explore with Atlas—not just haul freight. It adds four Ford vehicles and activities alongside the usual truck experience. If you only want conventional truck-and-trailer gameplay, its main additions may not offer much value. That is a feature-based recommendation, not a hands-on quality verdict.
What the Road Trip: Ford DLC includes
SCS Software released Road Trip: Ford on September 29, 2026. Its factsheet lists Steam support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and SteamOS, with regular prices of $7.99 USD, €7.99 EUR, and £6.79 GBP. These are publisher-listed regular prices; check the Steam listing for your region’s current price and any discount.
Four licensed Ford vehicles
- 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback
- 2023 Ford F-150
- 2023 Ford Bronco
- 1998–2012 Ford Crown Victoria
The pack unlocks Car Mode, vehicle accessories, and paint options. SCS describes the cars as a way to take a break from truck hauling, rather than a replacement for the core trucking experience.
Courier work, sightseeing, and Convoy trips
Players can take smaller delivery jobs through Quick Jobs or the Dispatch Market and build courier reputation. The Atlas feature lets players visit named locations, read about them, and collect postcards. SCS also says owners can use Atlas while driving a truck, and that cars and trucks can share roads during cooperative Convoy road trips. SCS’s Steam listing and its September 29, 2026 release announcement describe the pack’s launch and features.

Who is most likely to find it worthwhile?
- Good fit: Players curious about the four Ford cars, vehicle customization, courier jobs, or a change of pace between trucking sessions.
- Possible fit: Truck-focused players interested in Atlas and postcards, since SCS says Atlas can be used from a truck. The value depends on whether its available locations and sightseeing activities appeal to them.
- Weak fit: Players who plan to stick to conventional trucking and do not expect to drive cars, take courier jobs, customize vehicles, or use Atlas.
These are judgments based on the features SCS describes, not independent reviews, measured playtime, or hands-on testing.
Check the Atlas map coverage before buying
At launch, SCS said Atlas and Tourist Boards were available in California and the Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota map expansions. The company said coverage in other states would be added gradually in future updates. If Atlas is a major reason for buying, check the current rollout and whether you own the relevant map content rather than assuming every state is covered. SCS’s release announcement gives the launch coverage and its stated plans.
