JioGamesCloud streams games to your screen, so you do not download each cloud title or install a large game client. Install or open the JioGames app on a phone or supported TV, use the JioGames cloud-play site in Chrome on a computer, or launch JioGames on a Jio Set-Top Box. Sign in, select a cloud game, and use touch controls, a keyboard and mouse, or a compatible controller depending on the device and title.
JioGames’ published connection guidance is at least 40 Mbps, with 100 Mbps or more recommended, preferably over 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G. Those figures are service guidance rather than an independent performance guarantee; congestion, Wi-Fi quality, device hardware, and location can still cause latency or disconnections.

What you need before starting
Cloud gaming moves the game’s processing and rendering to a remote service and sends the video to your device. Your phone, computer, television, or set-top box therefore needs a supported app or browser, a JioGames account, and a reliable internet connection. You generally do not need to download the full game files.
- A supported screen: Android or iOS phone, a computer running Chrome, a supported Android TV, or a Jio Set-Top Box.
- A JioGames sign-in: the service says a Jio SIM is not required, although the current sign-in flow uses a phone number and one-time password.
- Input hardware: touch controls may work on some phone games; a PC can use a keyboard and mouse or controller; TV play requires a compatible controller.
- Network capacity: JioGames lists 40 Mbps as a minimum and recommends 100 Mbps or higher, with 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G preferred.
- A current app or browser: update the JioGames app and use a current Chrome installation for computer play.
Because app menus, game availability, supported devices, and plans can change, check the current JioGames app listing, cloud-play page, catalog, and plan terms when you set up the service.

A single subscription is intended for one user and can be used on supported devices when you sign in with the same account, according to JioGames’ FAQ. Eligibility and account rules can change, so use the current terms for unusual cases such as multiple household users or account changes.
Set up JioGamesCloud on an Android or iOS phone
1. Install the JioGames app
Open your phone’s official app store and search for the current JioGames app listing. The FAQ provides Android-phone instructions and also identifies Android and iOS apps. Screens, permissions, and game controls can differ between operating systems, so follow the live listing and the prompts shown on your phone.
2. Sign in
Launch JioGames and complete the account sign-in flow. The current landing-page flow uses a phone number and OTP. JioGames states that a Jio SIM is not required, but you still need access to the number used for authentication.

After signing in, open the Cloud Games area. Browse or search for a title, open its details, and choose the play option. The game is streamed to the app rather than installed as a conventional mobile download.
4. Select an input method
Some mobile titles may provide touch controls. Others are designed for a controller, and the controls can vary by game. Read the individual game’s details before starting; the existence of a phone app does not mean every title supports touch input.

5. Start playing and monitor the connection
Keep the phone on a stable Wi-Fi or 5G connection while playing. If the image becomes blurry, controls feel delayed, or the session disconnects, move closer to the Wi-Fi access point, reduce competing traffic, or switch to a less congested connection before changing game settings.
Play on a PC or laptop in Chrome
1. Open the current cloud-play page
Use the current official JioGames page to reach its cloud-play site rather than relying on an old bookmark. One older device-list reference has shown a spelling variation in the host name; use the live link presented by JioGames instead of reproducing that apparent typo.
2. Sign in with the account used for your pass
Complete the phone-number and OTP flow, then confirm that the account is the one associated with your subscription or access. If you subscribed on another device, use the same account credentials rather than creating a second account.
3. Use Chrome
JioGames’ FAQ specifies Chrome for desktop play. If the cloud player does not start, open Chrome’s settings and make sure hardware acceleration is enabled. The FAQ also identifies pop-ups as a browser setting that may need to be allowed for the cloud-play site.
4. Choose keyboard and mouse or a controller
Connect your keyboard and mouse before launching the game, or pair a supported controller with the computer. The game, not just the browser, determines which controls are available. A title may launch successfully while accepting only a controller, so check its details if keyboard input does nothing.

5. Launch a title
Select a game in the cloud catalog and start the session. Keep Chrome in the foreground while playing and avoid heavy downloads or video streams on the same connection. Cloud video is sensitive to jitter and packet loss even when a speed test reports a high peak rate.

Use JioGamesCloud on an Android TV
Install and sign in
On a supported Android TV, open the television’s app store, find the current JioGames listing, install it, and sign in. TV app availability can vary by model and region, so the presence of Android TV alone is not a guarantee that the app is offered on every television.
Connect a controller
TV instructions call for a compatible controller. Pair or plug in the controller before opening a game, then verify that the game recognizes its buttons. Controller support is title-specific; a controller that works in one game may not be accepted by another.
Start a cloud game
Open the cloud-games section, select a title, and begin streaming. A wired Ethernet connection or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi can reduce interference compared with a distant 2.4 GHz access point, although JioGames’ published speed figures remain guidance rather than a guaranteed frame rate or latency level.
Play through a Jio Set-Top Box
The Jio Set-Top Box is a separate supported route from an Android TV app. Open JioGames on the STB and sign in with the account that has access to the service.

Pair a Bluetooth controller
- Open Settings on the Jio Set-Top Box.
- Choose Remote Controller Options.
- Select Add BT Device or Controller.
- Put the controller into pairing mode.
- Select the controller when it appears in the STB’s discovered-device list.
Jio’s separate controller guide includes a button sequence and Android-mode requirement for a particular Jio controller. Do not apply that model-specific sequence to every Bluetooth controller.
Use a USB connection instead
A Wi-Fi controller dongle can be inserted into a USB port, and a wired controller can be connected directly by USB. After connecting, open a game and test the buttons. If the STB sees the device but the game does not, the title may not support that controller or input method.
If an STB does not show your subscription
When a pass was purchased on mobile or the web but the STB reports no access, JioGames’ FAQ recommends logging out of the STB and signing in again with the subscribed mobile number.
Internet requirements and how to reduce lag
JioGames publishes 40 Mbps minimum and 100 Mbps or higher recommended, preferably through 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G. These are Jio’s stated recommendations, not an independently measured guarantee. A connection can exceed 40 Mbps and still feel poor if latency, jitter, Wi-Fi interference, or congestion is high.

- 5 GHz Wi-Fi: usually offers more capacity and less congestion than 2.4 GHz, but its range through walls is shorter.
- 5G: can work well where coverage is strong; performance may change with location and network load.
- Ethernet: where available for a TV or set-top box, removes the wireless hop between the device and router.
- Shared networks: pause large uploads, downloads, cloud backups, and high-resolution streams while playing.
Recognize the symptoms
- Blurry video: the service may be reducing stream quality because available bandwidth has fallen.
- Delayed controls: high round-trip latency or Wi-Fi interference is more likely than a graphics setting on the device.
- Repeated disconnects: check for unstable Wi-Fi, mobile signal changes, router overload, or a service-side interruption.
Controller compatibility and connection choices
JioGames lists these tested controller examples: Jio Controller, EvoFox One S Wireless, Cosmic Byte Blitz Wireless, EvoFox Elite X Wired, ZEBRONICS MAX FURY, Cosmic Byte ARES Wireless, ZEBRONICS MAX LINK Wireless, EvoFox Elite X2 Wireless, and Ant Esports GP110 Wired. This is a list of JioGames-tested examples, not a promise that every model works on every device or in every title.

For a TV or STB, a controller is normally required because the television remote is not a substitute for game controls. On a computer, keyboard and mouse are available where the title supports them. On a phone, use touch only when the game’s details indicate that touch controls are provided.
Accounts, passes, catalog size, and cloud saves
Account and device use
JioGames says one subscription can be used on supported devices with the same account and describes one account as intended for one user. A Jio SIM is not required according to the FAQ, but phone-number authentication is part of the current sign-in flow. For account-sharing, eligibility, or regional questions, rely on the current JioGames terms because those rules can change.
Catalog figures are not stable
The current landing page advertises 1,000+ games, while the FAQ and a May 19, 2025 launch announcement describe 500+ games. These figures reflect different page dates or update states. Do not treat either number as a permanent catalog size; open the live catalog to see which titles are currently playable.

Passes and prices
The current landing page presents Mobile and Pro passes and a one-year Pro Pass/controller bundle. Older FAQ and launch-announcement pages contain different subscription details and historical prices. Check the live plans page for the current price, duration, included devices, catalog access, and bundle conditions before paying.
Steam linking
The current landing page says users can connect a Steam account and play owned titles through JioGames. This is subject to account linking and individual game eligibility; it does not establish that every Steam purchase is supported.
Cloud saves
JioGames says many games support cloud saves, and its landing page promotes cloud saves and progress synchronization. Save behavior is not guaranteed for every title, so confirm support for the specific game and the applicable pass terms before relying on cross-device progress.
Troubleshoot a game that will not start
- Check the connection: verify that the active network meets JioGames’ guidance and try 5 GHz Wi-Fi, 5G, or Ethernet where practical.
- Restart the session: close and reopen the JioGames app, or close and reload the cloud-play page in Chrome.
- Update software: install the latest JioGames app version and update Chrome on a computer.
- Clear cached data: use the app or browser’s cache-clearing option if a stale session or broken asset prevents loading.
- Check browser permissions: on a PC, enable hardware acceleration and allow pop-ups for the cloud-play site when the FAQ’s troubleshooting steps call for them.
- Re-authenticate: on a Jio Set-Top Box, log out and sign in again with the mobile number used for the subscription.
- Test input separately: reconnect the controller, confirm its pairing or USB connection, and check the game’s supported controls.
- Contact support: if the problem continues after these steps, use the support contact shown on the current JioGames support page.
Which setup should you choose?

Whichever route you choose, the decisive checks are the live device listing, the game’s own control requirements, your account’s current pass eligibility, and the stability of your internet connection. The service streams the game, but it still depends on all four.
