To reveal hidden catalog objects in The Sims 4, open the cheat console and enter bb.showhiddenobjects. Then search DEBUG in Build/Buy to find debug entries. For additional environmental objects, enter bb.showliveeditobjects; career-reward objects use a separate cheat.
Reveal hidden Build/Buy objects
- Open the cheat console. On PC or Mac, press Ctrl + Shift + C. On PlayStation or Xbox, hold all four shoulder buttons.
- Enter
bb.showhiddenobjectsand press Enter. EA says this makes hidden Build/Buy objects available. You can enter Build/Buy cheats in Live Mode or Build Mode, but you must be in Build Mode to use them. - In the Build/Buy search box, type
DEBUG. An EA Forums help reply recommends this search to surface debug catalog entries.
EA’s official instructions do not require testingcheats true for this hidden-object command. Avoid enabling it just for this task.

Show additional environmental objects
For environmental or live-edit objects, enter bb.showliveeditobjects in the cheat console. This additional command is documented in an EA Forums help reply; EA’s official FAQ does not list it. After entering it, look for the newly available objects in Build/Buy.
Unlock career-reward objects
Career-reward objects are a separate category from hidden debug and environmental objects. To make Buy Mode career rewards available, enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement, which EA lists for career unlocks.
