The 2025 World Series of Warzone In-Game Open has ended: registration and competition ran June 20–22, 2025. At the time, players signed up as a trio on FACEIT, then competed in Call of Duty: Warzone’s “World Series of WZ” playlist. The steps below explain how that edition worked; they are not a route to enter a current event.
How 2025 WSOW signup worked
The official World Series of Warzone overview directed eligible players to register a three-player squad on FACEIT and then play the “World Series of WZ” playlist in Call of Duty: Warzone.
- Form a trio. Compete with two squadmates as one three-player team.
- Register the trio on FACEIT. The team registration, rather than simply entering the playlist, was the signup step.
- Play the event playlist. During the competition window, the registered teammates entered the in-game “World Series of WZ” playlist.
- Build the team score. A trio’s best 10 scoring matches counted under WSOW scoring. Only matches started during the official competition windows were eligible.
For North America and EMEA, the official event page listed the In-Game Open for June 20–22, 2025, with daily competition windows from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT (4 p.m. to 10 p.m. UTC). The event dates have passed.
What happened after the In-Game Open?
The official overview said the top 100 trios in each region were eligible to be invited to Group Stage Qualifiers. Placement was an opportunity to be invited, not an automatic guarantee of advancement through every later stage.

The official FAQ said one trio from APAC, four from LATAM North, and three from LATAM South qualified for the Global Final. Those figures describe that edition, not a standing qualification format.
Eligibility and requirements for later stages
The official overview and 2025 WSOW FAQ described additional conditions for participants advancing beyond the In-Game Open. Players had to meet the applicable eligible-country and age rules, keep Activision and FACEIT accounts in good standing, and register their squad on FACEIT. The overview specified an age of at least 18 or the age of majority in the player’s region.
