GameSpot’s walkthrough describes a sequence of clicks for reaching that arrangement, but the important check is the finished row—not treating the clicks as a single required code. If your indicators do not match, keep adjusting them until each position shows the target color. When the sequence is correct, the concealed wall opens.

How to find the clues
If you want to solve it with in-game hints before using the complete answer, look for the letter in the Mail Room and the email on the Office terminal. The letter introduces the green lights and the blue-and-red combination that produces purple; the email provides the target order. GameSpot’s guide also describes a later Mail Room letter connected to repeated Laboratory experiments, which adds further light interactions.
What to do after solving it
Enter the hidden chamber and pull the large lever. This unlocks the Gemstone Cavern, which grants two gems at the start of each day. You do not need to solve the six-indicator puzzle again on later runs. Drafting the Utility Closet again can still be useful for its other controls.
