The Haunted Floating Festival runs in Disney Dreamlight Valley from October 7 through October 31, 2026. At launch, community-maintained event listings report eight available puzzles, with a ninth scheduled for October 18. Event dates and how to get started
Gameloft’s September 21, 2026 Season of Scares update announcement says the Haunted Floating Festival returns October 7–31 with new and returning puzzles and seasonal decoration rewards.
For entry, Gameloft’s 2025 event instructions directed players to use the Plaza portal or the event’s teleport option. Those prior-edition instructions also say to explore the island for clues and resources, and note that some items may depend on time of day or weather. The 2026 announcement does not repeat all those mechanics, so follow the prompts shown in the current game.

Ghostly Critter: feed Zero
- Find the roaming Ghostly “Zero” Fox. The community index places Haunted Skeleton Fish near Zero’s house.
- Feed Zero one Haunted Skeleton Fish. The index reports that the fox drops a memory piece.
- Repeat the feeding on four days to assemble the full memory, then dig at the location shown in it.
Combination Pillar: enter the symbol sequence
The reported location is behind the Haunted Mansion. Use the pumpkin counts near the island’s glowing symbols as clues, then enter this order:
- Spider web (I)
- Bat (II)
- Witch hat (III)
- Cat (IV)
The community listing reports the Haunted Festival Dress as the reward.

- One Haunted White Rose, reported near the Haunted Mansion
- One Catfish, from gold ripples in the Peaceful Meadow
- Two Haunted Skeleton Fish, reported near Zero’s house
- One Swordfish, from gold ripples on Dazzle Beach
Haunted Mansion: answer the Haunted Armor quiz
The community index gives these four answers for the Haunted Armor reward:
- Six blue pumpkins
- A cat inside the Scary Surprise Box
- Seven graves
- Blue Skele-Fish is Zero’s favorite food
Haunted-house books and lost page
The index describes two additional new puzzles: a Lost Magic Page in a back room opened with a Repaired Haunted Key, and a Missing Books task that involves placing books on shelves and assembling a memory. It also describes a memory featuring a book titled Terrifying Tunes by Major Frite. These details are community-reported rather than confirmed in a 2026 official walkthrough, so use the current in-game clues if a step or item name does not match.
