How do I solve the Haunted Mansion puzzle in Dreamlight Valley?
This guide covers the 2026 Haunted Floating Festival puzzle, not the older Haunted Armor quiz. The festival runs October 7–31, 2026, and you can enter the Floating Island through the Plaza portal or the Event tab, according to Gameloft’s official event announcement.
1. Unlock the bedroom
Progress through Find the Haunted Key to collect and repair the Haunted Key. Use the Repaired Haunted Key to unlock the Haunted Mansion bedroom. Gameloft’s event guide describes finding the key fragments and opening the bedroom; the walkthrough identifies the repaired key as the access item.
2. Complete Haunted Library
The combination clue puzzle becomes available after Haunted Library. Find each book and return it to the next indicated shelf:

3. Enter the bedroom combination
At the combination puzzle, set the four positions in this order:

The exact order and symbol mapping come from the current walkthrough and its linked symbol images: position I, position II, position III, and position IV.
4. Restore the magical book
When the combination opens, pick up the Lost Magic Page that drops, then insert it into the nearby bookstand. This completes Release the Curse and grants the Decorative Magic Seal. Gameloft describes the objective as recovering a Missing Page and restoring a magical book in its official event announcement.

Is this the same as the Haunted Armor puzzle?
No. The 2025 Haunted Armor quiz and the 2026 Release the Curse combination are separate Haunted Mansion activities. The current puzzle uses four bedroom symbols and a Missing Page; do not use answers from the older armor quiz for this combination.
When does the rest of the Haunted Mansion event unlock?
The festival runs through October 31, 2026. Gameloft says the final Haunted Mansion mystery, including Ghost Hunt, unlocks October 18; it is separate from solving Release the Curse.
