Let each message finish; after all four interactions register, collect the chest in the middle of the group. The puzzle was later reported moved from its original Brookham area to Dayton Hospital, but the available current-location report does not give exact booth coordinates.
How to complete the puzzle
- Go to the puzzle area. A March–April 2025 player discussion reports that it was moved to Dayton Hospital; use that as a location lead, not as an official coordinate route. Read the Steam Community relocation discussion.
- Search for four telephone booths that ring and glow purple when you are nearby. These are the clues described in the original walkthroughs. PC Gamer’s walkthrough and Game8’s guide describe the same interaction.
- Visit each booth from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. in-game. Interact with it, choose the option to play the message, and allow the dialogue to finish before going to the next booth.
- After the four messages have registered, check the center of the booth group for the reward chest. Its exact current position has not been established.
Where are the booths now?
The most recent location lead in the available sources is a player report that the puzzle was moved to Dayton Hospital. It was posted in a Steam Community discussion on March 30, 2025, with the accepted answer reposted April 1; it is not an official patch note and provides no booth or chest coordinates. The Once Human Interactive Map page for Dayton Hospital, last updated September 3, 2026, does not expose readable telephone-booth markers.
As a practical approach, use the in-game map to reach the Dayton Hospital area, then search for the ringing and purple glow. This applies the reported relocation to the visual and audio clues in the walkthroughs; it is not a verified coordinate-by-coordinate route.
Why older coordinates may not work
Guides published in 2024 place the puzzle around Brookham. PC Gamer lists these historical booth coordinates and chest location:
#1 Best Overall
| Historical Brookham location | Coordinates in PC Gamer’s July 23, 2024 guide |
|---|---|
| Telephone booth 1 | 6612, -4711 |
| Telephone booth 2 | 6687, -4650 |
| Telephone booth 3 | 6759, -4685 |
| Telephone booth 4 | 6696, -4819 |
| Reward chest | 6687, -4697 |
PC Gamer’s original guide also describes nearby landmarks such as a tractor and scarecrow, a drainage channel and pickup, a dirt track, and a small island. Game8’s 2024 guide gives somewhat different coordinates for the older layout. Taken together with the later relocation report, these figures are best treated as historical directions, not confirmed Dayton Hospital coordinates.

PC Gamer’s original guide reports a chest containing 200 Energy Link, four Stellar Planula, 30 Stardust Source, and two Controllers. Treat that as the guide-reported reward; the sources do not establish that it is unchanged across current scenarios or game versions. PC Gamer’s guide and Game8’s guide cover the reward and puzzle mechanics.
