To steal in Steal a Brainrot, enter another player’s base when it is open, take a Brainrot, and carry it back to your own base. A pursuing player can interrupt you: a September 2025 account reports that getting hit during the carry sent the Brainrot back to its owner. The tactics below can help you spot an opportunity or make an escape, but none makes a steal unstoppable.
First, make sure you are in the intended game
Roblox search results include similarly named experiences, including modded games and listings that disclaim a connection to the original. Check the experience listing before relying on a tactic or item name. The broad loop described for a surfaced modded listing—buying or stealing Brainrots, earning money, rebirthing, and using slaps or troll gear—is not authoritative evidence of the original game’s current balance. 7 practical ways to improve your chances
1. Watch for an open base
The September 2025 account describes entering another player’s base after it unlocked. Look for an actual opening rather than assuming a fixed lock schedule: the report’s 60-second lock duration describes the version its author played at publication, not a verified current setting. 2. Plan the return before you take anything
A steal is a trip back to your own base while carrying the Brainrot, not just getting inside the other player’s base. Before committing, notice the route out and whether someone is close enough to chase or hit you. That is a practical response to the reported carry-and-interruption mechanic, not a tested route or guarantee. PC Gamer’s September 2025 account
3. Use the Tung Bat to create a brief opening
Phillips reported that the starting Tung Bat temporarily stunned opponents. If that item and effect are still present in your version, use the moment to move away rather than linger or treat the stun as protection. The report does not establish how long the effect lasts or whether it works the same way now. PC Gamer’s September 2025 account

4. Prioritize escape once you have the Brainrot
The same account says a hit during the carry returned the Brainrot to its owner. Once you have taken one, focus on getting home instead of extending the encounter. A direct return is sensible given that risk, but the account does not compare routes or prove an optimal path. PC Gamer’s September 2025 account
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors5. Match the target to the escape you can manage
A more valuable target may be tempting, but its value does not help if you cannot complete the return. In Phillips’s session, the starter Noobini Pizzanini generated $1 per second and a stolen Burbaloni Loliloli generated $200 per second. Those are historical in-session examples, not current rates or proof that Burbaloni is the best target. Choose with both the possible income and the exposure during the carry in mind. 6. Notice distractions, but don’t count on them
Phillips described an event that drew players toward newly appearing characters while other players stole from one another. That anecdote suggests a possible moment of distraction, not a repeatable event strategy. Pay attention to what nearby players are doing, and be ready to abandon the attempt if the opening closes. PC Gamer’s September 2025 account
7. Treat rebirth as longer-term progression
The account reports that rebirth reset the author’s characters and funds while unlocking weapons, tools, and sometimes base space. Rebirth is therefore a progression choice rather than an immediate stealing tactic. Check the live game for its current requirements and rewards before resetting progress. What these tactics can—and cannot—tell you
There is no head-to-head test of the seven approaches or established success rate. Use them as situational choices: watching for an opening may reduce the time spent waiting, while carrying a Brainrot exposes you to interruption; gear may create a chance to move, but the evidence does not establish guaranteed protection. The 2025 account also described eight players per server and leaderboard players holding over $120 billion, both observations from that writer’s version and time—not current server limits or leaderboard figures. PC Gamer’s September 2025 account
For current item names, lock timing, income, and rebirth details, rely on what the live experience shows rather than carrying forward a 2025 observation. Similar Roblox listings make that distinction especially important.
