Rights vary by event and territory, so a service that works at home—or carries another match—may not show the fixture you want. The ICC’s current event listings and ICC.tv’s region-specific match availability are the best starting points.
Check the match and destination before choosing a service
Find the tournament or series on the ICC’s current event listing, then check which broadcaster is authorized where you will be watching. ICC.tv says live content is geo-restricted in some territories and directs viewers to check which matches are available in their region: ICC.tv.

Do not rely on an old list of broadcasters as a guarantee. The ICC’s Official Broadcasters table is dated 7 February 2023. It gives examples of providers by territory, but rights can change between tournaments and fixtures. Confirm the current event listing and the provider’s own availability before paying or traveling.

ICC.tv lists apps for iPhone and iPad, as well as Android phones and tablets. Its FAQ says registration is free, but that does not mean every live match is free or available in every country. Check the destination’s match listing first. The FAQ also says ICC.tv content is streaming-only, with no downloads for offline viewing, and that the product and commentary are in English. Details in that FAQ are dated 10 June 2021, so check the service’s current app information for any changes.

Watch on a laptop
ICC.tv offers web playback. Its FAQ recommends current versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox. That guidance applies to ICC.tv; other broadcasters may have different browser, operating-system, or account requirements, so check the rights holder’s support information.
Put the stream on a TV
ICC.tv documents Chromecast support in its Android app and AirPlay support in its iOS app. To cast, the phone or tablet and the TV or receiving device should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Start the match in the app and select the cast or AirPlay control when it appears in the player.

If your TV already supports the relevant casting method, a separate receiver may not be needed. If it does not, a Chromecast-compatible streaming device is one optional way to send an Android app stream to the TV. Casting availability depends on the device, app, and match being supported.
Why a cricket stream may not work overseas
A blocked or missing match is often a rights-availability issue rather than a problem with the screen you are using. ICC.tv explicitly limits some live content by territory. A subscription from your home country does not by itself establish that the service can show the match in your current location. Check the authorized broadcaster for the destination and fixture, and use that provider’s instructions if playback still fails.

The ICC’s 7 February 2023 broadcaster table illustrates how providers differ across territories: it listed YuppTV for Afghanistan and continental Europe/parts of Southeast Asia; Kayo and Foxtel services for Australia; ESPN+ for Central and South America/Mexico; Willow and ESPN+ for the United States; and Sky Go for the UK. These are historical examples, not current recommendations for a particular event. Use the event-specific ICC listing and verify the provider’s current offer.
