In Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, surviving seven days in Infinity Mode is a food-and-health management challenge, not a seven-day real-world commitment. Plan food stops, keep Frank’s health in view, and use eligible save points to fast-forward time. A third-party trophy guide estimates the challenge at about 90 minutes of real time, but your route and interruptions can change that.
What seven days in Infinity Mode means
Capcom describes Infinity Mode as “a mode in which you try to survive as long as possible.” Its official manual says the mode must be unlocked, but the manual page does not give the exact unlock condition. Check the mode prompt in your game for the requirement. The manual reviewed is for PS5; the game was announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC/Steam, so platform-specific prompts or controls may differ. The central pressure is keeping Frank alive as time passes. A 2024 review describes hunger gradually draining his health and says humans are hostile in this mode. Plan around food, health, and time
Make food stops deliberate
Collect food with the next stretch of survival in mind. Avoid detours that do not help you reach food or stay alive, and keep enough healing resources to bridge the gap to your next planned source. The available sources do not establish exact healing values, spawn timing, or a guaranteed route for the Deluxe Remaster, so do not rely on older-version item rankings or route claims as if they were confirmed for this release.

Some community guides recommend finding three health books to improve how much food heals. StrategyWiki describes the books’ effect, but exact locations and boosts for the Deluxe Remaster are not confirmed here. Fast-forward only when your health and route allow it
Capcom’s manual says time can be fast-forwarded at a save point once the requirements are met, and that Frank’s watch shows the current date and time. Treat each skip as part of your plan: check the clock and health beforehand, and verify both afterward. Do not assume a skip is safe merely because it saves real time. PowerPyx estimates about 90 minutes of real time for the seven-day challenge in the Deluxe Remaster, attributing the shorter duration to time fast-forwarding at bathrooms. Pause and resume the attempt between sessions
You do not have to complete the run in one sitting. Capcom’s manual documents this flow:

- Open the pause menu.
- Choose the System tab.
- Select Suspend Infinity Mode.
- When you return, load the dedicated Infinity Mode save slot to resume.
This suspends the run; it does not remove the survival requirements within it. The manual reviewed is the PS5 version, so check your platform’s menu wording if it differs. Capcom’s save/load instructions

Do not carry over older releases’ assumptions about a roughly 14-hour real-time challenge or the lack of a suspend-and-resume option. The Deluxe Remaster’s manual documents both time fast-forwarding at eligible save points and a dedicated Infinity Mode suspension workflow.
