Need a nudge before the solution? The February 3, 2025, answer for New York Times Wordle #1325 is a kind of theatre show. The hint is below; the answer is farther down, clearly marked so you can stop before the spoiler.

Hint for Wordle #1325

PC Gamer’s contemporaneous guide describes the answer as the name of a theatre show: a variety-style entertainment that can include song, dance and jokes. That clue is adapted from its hint for the February 3 puzzle. Read PC Gamer’s Wordle #1325 guide.

Answer for February 3, 2025

Spoiler: The reported answer to New York Times Wordle #1325 is REVUE. PC Gamer published the answer on the puzzle date; this is an archived answer lookup, not a claim that the original game board was independently inspected. Source: PC Gamer.

How to use the clues to solve a Wordle

PC Gamer describes standard Wordle as six rows of five boxes, with six guesses to find a valid five-letter word. After each guess, the tile colors show what to keep, move or rule out:

  • Green: the letter is in the answer and in the correct position.
  • Yellow: the letter is in the answer but in a different position.
  • Gray: the letter does not appear in the answer.

These color meanings also appear in the official NYT Help Center’s explanation of Wordle in 1: “green means right letter right spot, yellow means right letter wrong spot, gray means wrong letter.” Wordle in 1 is a separate variation, so its one-clue format, five rounds and unlimited guesses are not the rules for the standard daily puzzle. Make each guess informative

  • Start with a mix of common vowels and consonants to test several likely letters.
  • Carry forward confirmed letters, and avoid reusing letters that the board has ruled out.
  • Remember that an answer can contain a repeated letter. Even after identifying several letters, check whether a duplicate could fit.

These are practical heuristics described by PC Gamer, not a guarantee of the optimal guess. For this archived puzzle, the theatre-show clue narrows the answer to REVUE.
