What Steam Deck Verified means for this game
The Steam listing for Terminus: Zombie Survivors currently displays the Steam Deck Verified rating. Longplay Studios announced the rating on April 26, 2024, in a developer announcement.

Valve describes Verified games as working great on Deck by default. Its review considers input, display, seamlessness, and system support, and Valve says compatibility reviews are ongoing. A Verified rating is useful context, not a diagnosis: it does not establish why a particular copy crashes or guarantee that every later combination of game and system software will be trouble-free. Try these general Steam Deck checks
Steam Support recommends these general steps for instability. They are sensible troubleshooting checks, not fixes confirmed specifically for Terminus: Zombie Survivors. Try them in order, checking whether the game still crashes after each change.

- Install available SteamOS updates. Open the Deck’s system settings and check for updates. Apply any available update before testing again.

- Temporarily exit third-party applications. If you run other apps that interact with Steam or games, close them and launch Terminus again. This checks for possible background-app interference; it does not mean a third-party app is necessarily the cause.
- Check the game’s compatibility setting. In Steam, open the game’s Properties > Compatibility settings and, if needed, try the latest Proton compatibility option available there. Proton is Steam’s compatibility tool for running games; the official sources do not identify a particular older Proton version as a Terminus-specific remedy.

Use the game’s Steam discussion or support channels, or contact Longplay Studios at [email protected]. The studio’s Verified announcement specifically invites players with Deck or controller issues to comment, post in the forums, or email. Steam also lists the same address on the game’s technical support page.

- Whether the crash happens while launching or during play.
- What happened immediately before the crash, and concise steps to reproduce it if possible.
- Whether the general checks above changed the behavior.
