Unlock AAC Cruiserweight Savage
- Complete the Arcadion story quests. Start with Souls under Siege and progress through The Lone Wolf, the prerequisite endpoint for Savage access. Square Enix lists Souls under Siege among the Arcadion Chronicles of a New Era quests in the Patch 7.2 notes; the quest listing identifies The Lone Wolf as the Savage prerequisite.
- Switch to a level 100 Disciple of War or Magic. This character and job requirement is specified in the official Patch 7.2 notes.
- Talk to Gabbro. Find him in Solution Nine at X:22.3, Y:17.1. The Patch 7.2 notes name Gabbro and give this location.
- Register through the Raid Finder. Select an AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage) duty there to queue.
Item level and party requirements
The Patch 7.2 notes set these minimum item levels for the four fights. They also specify eight players; role and item level restrictions are lifted when entering as a full party.

For M4 (Savage), the Eorzea Database listing specifies level 100, an average item level of 740, an eight-player party with two tanks, two healers, and four DPS, and a 120-minute time limit. Check the in-game duty listing for current entry details, since duty requirements and their presentation can change with patches.
Do Cruiserweight Savage fights still have a weekly lockout?
No. Patch 7.38 removed the weekly entrance restriction and weekly treasure coffer reward restrictions for AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage), and permits players to proceed directly to any area. See the official Patch 7.38 notes for the change.

Does Dawntrail ownership unlock the fights?
No. Dawntrail must be purchased and registered for the relevant Patch 7.2 content, but expansion ownership alone does not unlock Savage. You must still complete the Arcadion quest prerequisite and meet the character requirement. Square Enix states the expansion requirement in the Patch 7.2 notes and its Dawntrail product page.
