Craft and use the Workbench
Once you have the materials and have unlocked the recipe, craft the Workbench in the world. It serves as a station for crafting advanced resources, weapons, armor, and consumables.
The recipe and unlock route are reported by a community wiki and a PC Gamer guide rather than official game documentation, so the in-game recipe display is the best check if they differ from your current build.
