To reach 100% in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you need achievements from the campaign, Operations, and Eternal War—not just a story clear. Start with missable campaign moments, then work through Operations collectibles and combat challenges, class and weapon progression, and finally the multiplayer match requirements. Check the achievement list on your own platform as you go: the captured Steam guide describes 50 achievements, while the Epic Games Store listing shows 49.
Spoiler warning: The campaign section names missions and story moments, including late-game content. If you want to avoid spoilers, skip it until you are ready.
What full completion requires
The achievement set spans three distinct parts of the game. Campaign achievements reward story progress and specific combat actions; Operations add collectibles, enemy-marking, and kill challenges; Eternal War requires actual multiplayer participation. A campaign-only run cannot earn the full set.
There is no reliable completion-time figure established by the platform listings. One Steam community guide estimates 50–70 hours, but that is the guide author’s estimate, not an official time or a guarantee for every player. Requirements can differ in presentation between platform lists, so use the achievement descriptions shown by your own version of the game as the final check: Steam achievements and Epic Games Store achievements.

Campaign achievements
The Steam community guide organizes campaign advice by mission, including the prologue and “Skyfire,” “Severance,” “Machinus Divinitus,” “Servant of the Machine,” “Voidsong,” “Dawn’s Descent,” and “Bellum Sempiternus.” Its mission-by-mission contents can help you locate opportunities, but it does not establish a verified route for every achievement. The guide says missions can be replayed and that achievement difficulty does not depend on campaign difficulty; treat those as community-guide advice rather than official platform rules. See the Steam campaign guide.
Handle the time-sensitive and combat-specific moments
- “My Face Is My Shield”: Hit 10 objects during the sub-orbital drop. The condition is given by the Steam community guide.
- “Break of Dawn”: Watch every cinematic in Mission 6 without skipping. The Steam guide specifically warns about this condition, so do not skip cinematics during that mission if you still need the achievement.
- “An End to Heresy”: Kill a Lesser Sorcerer while he is reviving a Rubric Marine.
- “Know No Fear”: Break a Scarab Occult Terminator’s melee combo attack with two perfect parries in a row.
- “One Ugly Xenos”: Bring down a Lictor before it attacks from an ambush.
- “Unhand My Brother!”: Force a Ravener to release a grabbed squad member.
Those named requirements are listed on the platform achievement pages; the Mission 6 cinematic and sub-orbital-drop notes come from the community guide. If you miss a campaign opportunity, the Steam guide advises replaying missions, but check your platform’s current achievement description before relying on any particular replay behavior.

Operations: collectibles, enemy checks, and kill totals
Operations achievements combine several independent goals. In particular, the dataslate collection and enemy-marking requirements are not interchangeable: finding every dataslate does not automatically mean you have marked every enemy type.
- “Data Mining”: Collect all dataslates. The Steam guide indexes dataslate locations across Operations missions.
- “Purge Them All”: Mark every enemy type. Track this separately from dataslate collection.
- Pickup progress: Collect 200 pickups in Operations.
- Operations kills: Kill 1,000 Tyranids and 1,000 Chaos servants in Operations, as listed by the Epic Games Store page.
- Difficulty completion: Complete any Operations mission on Ruthless.
For exact collectible routes, use the dataslate-location indexes in the Steam community guide, then verify each achievement against your platform’s listing. The platform descriptions are the anchor for the stated thresholds; the guide supplies routing context, not proof that every possible route is covered.

Class, weapon, and cumulative challenges
Several achievements require deliberate use of a specific class or weapon. Others build over repeated play. The listed thresholds include:
- As Heavy, kill 500 enemies in Heavy Stance.
- As Assault, hit 500 enemies with Ground Pound.
- As Sniper, score 250 headshots.
- As Vanguard, perform 100 Gun Strikes.
- As Bulwark, kill 100 enemies with each available melee weapon.
- As Tactical, get 25 kills with every available primary weapon.
- Reach maximum level with one class, one ranged weapon, and one melee weapon.
- Accumulate a total of 20,000 or 41,000 kills across the modes, depending on the achievement listed for your platform.
These requirements are not all one-and-done story moments: class actions, weapon-specific kills, and all-mode kill totals reward steady progress across sessions. The achievement pages do not establish a single optimal class or route for completing them, so track the displayed counters rather than assuming progress from a particular mission or match.
Rank #4

Eternal War: multiplayer requirements
Full completion includes Eternal War tasks, so you will need to play online matches. The listed requirements include winning a match, earning a five-kill streak without dying, winning a match with every class, and playing 10 matches in each of three modes.
| Mode or task | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Annihilation | Play 10 matches |
| Capture and Control | Play 10 matches |
| Seize Ground | Play 10 matches |
| Class wins | Win a match with every class |
| Win and streak | Win a match; earn a five-kill streak without dying |
These are participation and performance requirements, not campaign unlocks. Progress toward mode-match totals can be handled separately from the win, class-win, and streak challenges; check the achievement list for your platform to confirm its current wording.
Use the achievement list for your platform
Achievement counts are not universal in the available listings: a Steam community guide describes 50 total, while the captured Epic Games Store list exposes 49. This difference is a reason to verify the set where you play, not to infer that one platform’s count or requirements automatically applies to another. Steam’s and Epic’s published descriptions are the best available anchors for their displayed unlock conditions, but the sources do not establish that every platform list remains identical after game updates.
For a careful run, keep your platform’s achievement page open as a checklist, separate campaign opportunities from Operations and Eternal War tasks, and confirm each unlock there. The game’s achievement conditions cover one-off actions as well as long-term counters, so an apparently similar action does not guarantee that a tracked requirement has registered.
