Fahkumram released as a paid TEKKEN 8 Season 2 DLC character in July 2025. Season 2 pass holders received 72-hour early access; after that, players could buy him as standalone DLC. Those launch dates have passed, so check your platform’s store and your existing pass or bundle before purchasing.
When did Fahkumram release in Tekken 8?
Bandai Namco scheduled early access to begin July 7, 2025, at about 4:00 p.m. PDT (July 8 at about 1:00 a.m. CEST). General access followed on July 10, 2025, at about 4:00 p.m. PDT (July 11 at about 1:00 a.m. CEST). These are historical launch times, not upcoming release dates. The official patch notes distinguish pass-holder early access from paid general access, and Bandai Namco Europe’s May 27, 2025 announcement confirms the July 7 and July 10 dates.

How do you unlock Fahkumram now?
Since the Season 2 launch window is over, look for the standalone Fahkumram DLC in the store for your platform. Bandai Namco’s official TEKKEN 8 product page identifies him as playable DLC and links to Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store.
- Open the storefront for your platform: Steam on PC, PlayStation Store on PS5, or Microsoft Store on Xbox Series X|S.
- Search for the TEKKEN 8 Fahkumram DLC listing and review the product details for your region.
- Before buying, check your game library and the contents of any Season 2 pass or bundle you already own. Bandai Namco warns that bundles can include content also sold as individual DLC.

Did you need the Season 2 pass to get Fahkumram?
No. The passes were a route to early access, not the only way to obtain the character. At launch, 72-hour early access was included with the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass or Season 2 Character Pass for players who already owned the base game. Bandai Namco also listed the Season 2 Deluxe Edition and Season 2 Ultimate Edition for players without the base game. Once general access began, players could buy Fahkumram separately as DLC. Bandai Namco’s patch notes name the eligible passes and editions.
Owning the base game alone does not unlock Fahkumram. The publisher lists TEKKEN 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; the character is separate DLC or part of a qualifying content package. The May 2025 announcement described Fahkumram as the addition that would expand the roster to 38 fighters at that time; that figure is not a current roster count.

What season is Tekken 8 in now?
The July 2025 dates belong to Season 2. Bandai Namco’s official Season 3 roadmap, published in 2026, schedules characters across 2026 and winter 2027. That later roadmap does not change Fahkumram’s Season 2 release or unlock route.
