Bandai Namco America announced Armor King’s October 16 general date and 72-hour pass-holder early-access window on August 4, 2025 (announcement). Bandai Namco Europe later posted an availability notice dated October 17, saying he joined the fight “today.” That regional post date differs from the earlier announced general release date; it does not change the original October 16 announcement (Bandai Namco Europe availability post).

Bandai Namco revealed Miary Zo’s December 2 early-access date for pass holders at Evo France (reveal). Its availability announcement set December 5 as the date all players could access her and confirmed the same two passes for early access (availability announcement).
Where to find the official gameplay trailers
The official TEKKEN media page lists both the “Armor King Gameplay Trailer” and the “Miary Zo Gameplay Trailer.” The page is the direct place to check for the publisher’s trailer listings and related game news. This release guide does not characterize specific footage or moves.

What the DLC includes—and what it does not
Armor King and Miary Zo are presented by Bandai Namco as playable-character DLC, separate from the physical editions of TEKKEN 8. The physical game is the base game; owning it alone should not be taken to mean either fighter is included. Bandai Namco’s official DLC page presents the characters as downloadable content and links to platform stores.
The Season 2 Character Pass and Season 2 Character & Stage Pass were the named options that granted the early-access windows above. Individual character DLC and pass or bundle ownership are distinct purchase routes: check the relevant platform store and your account’s existing content before buying, so you do not purchase a character you already own through a pass.

Platforms and buying the right version
Bandai Namco lists TEKKEN 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The official game page covers its physical editions and platform availability (game page); character DLC is digital and should be obtained through the store for the platform where you play. Verify the product listing and platform compatibility before checkout.
When Miary Zo became available, Bandai Namco Entertainment America reported that she brought the roster to 40 playable characters. That is the publisher’s roster count at her release, not a claim about the current roster size (availability announcement).
