Requirements before you start
- Have Dawntrail purchased and registered; this content is expansion-gated. [Square Enix’s Dawntrail information]
- Complete the Dawntrail main scenario quest. It is a prerequisite for Cultivating Hope. [Eorzea Database]
- Be on a level 90 Disciple of the Land. The quest is listed as level 90 and requires a gathering class. [Eorzea Database]
- Complete the Yok T’el prerequisite quest progress through One Forest. The route begins with Aiming High and Lost and Powerless. [Patch 7.25 notes]
Unlock the daily quests
- Switch to a Disciple of the Land at level 90.
- Finish the Dawntrail main scenario quest if it is still in your journal.
- Progress the Yok T’el sidequest chains starting with Aiming High and Lost and Powerless until you can complete One Forest. Square Enix’s Patch 7.25 notes identify those chains as the route to One Forest; Cultivating Hope requires that quest.
- Speak with Gotoll Ja in Yak T’el at X:35.6, Y:32.0 and complete Cultivating Hope. That is the quest that unlocks the Mamool Ja dailies and their vendor. [Square Enix Patch 7.25 notes]
The Patch 7.25 notes do not enumerate every intermediate quest between the two starting sidequests and One Forest. If Cultivating Hope is unavailable, verify that you have the Dawntrail main scenario and One Forest completed, are on a level 90 gathering class, and have progressed both prerequisite quest lines.

What to expect from Mamool Ja dailies
These are gathering quests. Accept a quest before collecting its requested materials: quest materials can only be gathered while that quest is active, and the objective appears in the Duty List rather than the Gathering or Fishing Log. [Square Enix Patch 7.25 notes]
Completing the quests awards Mamool Ja nanook, shown in the Currency window. Completing Cultivating Hope also unlocks the Mamool Ja vendor. [Square Enix Patch 7.25 notes]

How many allied society quests can you accept?
As general allied society system context, Square Enix’s Patch 7.1 notes say players can accept up to three daily quests per Earth day after completing the first main quest for an allied society. Completing dailies raises reputation and unlocks further main quests. This general allowance does not replace the Mamool Ja unlock requirement: finish Cultivating Hope first.
