To unlock Mulan and Mushu, open the Mulan Realm in Dream Castle, progress through its recruit, training, and camp quests, then complete Mushu’s The Dragon Army and Clearing the Road. Mushu joins after Clearing the Road; build a home for the new Villagers in the Valley to welcome them.
How do I unlock Mulan and Mushu?
- Open the Mulan Realm. Go to Dream Castle and interact with the Mulan Realm door. The official Lucky Dragon Update identifies Dream Castle as the starting point; the Mulan Realm reference locates the door on the third floor.
- Begin Mushu’s camp and recruit quests. Complete A New Recruit and The Dragon Army. The update describes arriving at a disorganized training camp, cleaning it up, assembling a recruit outfit, and preparing to wake Mulan.
- Work through Mulan’s training and camp quests. The listed quests are A Defender’s Training, Orienteering, Fishing for Precision, Brick Breaking, Training Treasures, and Protecting the Camp. Their names indicate a mix of training and camp tasks; the available quest references do not establish every objective or dependency in a complete step-by-step sequence.
- Complete Mushu’s final quests. Finish The Dragon Army, then Clearing the Road. A landslide blocks the wagon’s route, and the quest has Mulan and the player clear it before Mushu requests a protective fence. Completing Clearing the Road unlocks Mushu, according to the quest reference.
- Build a home in the Valley. Gameloft says new Villagers arrive after their home is built in the Valley, then begin their individual friendship questlines. The official update does not specify every moment of Mulan’s invitation, so follow the in-game prompts for her arrival.
How much Dreamlight does the Mulan Realm cost?
The Mulan Realm reference reports a cost of 4,000–15,000 Dreamlight, varying with the order in which Realm doors are opened. Check the amount displayed at your own door before spending Dreamlight: the same reference also retains older fixed-price wording, so guides that state 15,000 as the universal cost may not reflect the current variable price.

How do I unlock Mushu?
Complete The Dragon Army and then Clearing the Road. Mushu’s unlock is tied to finishing Clearing the Road; the quest involves clearing the landslide-blocked route and fulfilling Mushu’s request for a fence. You do not unlock him simply by entering the realm or starting the earlier camp quests.
