To unlock Pack-a-Punch in Black Ops 7 Zombies’ Ashes of the Damned, activate Ol’ Tessie with T.E.D.D.’s Head, restore power at one remote Power Pump and then at Ashwood, and install the upgrade from the Ashwood garage workbench. Pack-a-Punch is attached to Tessie, so it moves with the truck instead of staying at a fixed machine.

Open the Server Room in Janus Towers Plaza
Spend 1,250 Essence to open the Server Room door. Inside, melee the circular floor grate to reveal T.E.D.D.’s Head. This door cost and pickup location are reported in PC Gamer’s unlock guide.

Install T.E.D.D.’s Head on Ol’ Tessie
Carry the head to the pickup truck outside and install it. Ol’ Tessie is then available to drive between map areas.

Restore power at a remote Power Pump
Choose either Blackwater Lake or Vandorn Farm. At the pump, shoot the glowing orange infestation pods until the pump is clear. Then enter the nearby building and activate its power switch. Game8’s Ol’ Tessie guide reports a 30-second window to clear the infestation; treat that as a guide-reported gameplay detail, as an update could change it.

Install Pack-a-Punch in the garage
With Ashwood powered, enter the garage with Ol’ Tessie. Interact with the workbench to install the Pack-a-Punch upgrade on the truck. The ordered steps are detailed in PC Gamer’s guide and corroborated at a high level by Game8.
Where Pack-a-Punch is after you unlock it
Pack-a-Punch is not a stationary machine on this map. The official Call of Duty Zombies deep dive describes it as clamped to Ol’ Tessie’s exhaust as a vehicle upgrade. After installation, use the machine attached to Tessie wherever you take the truck.

If the upgrade is not available
- Check that you installed T.E.D.D.’s Head on Ol’ Tessie; finding the head alone does not activate the truck.
- Confirm you cleared the infestation and flipped the switch at a remote pump location, then repeated both tasks at Ashwood.
- Take Ol’ Tessie into the Ashwood garage and interact with its workbench. The installation step is performed there after Ashwood power is restored.
The 1,250 Essence door cost and 30-second pump window are details reported by third-party guides; if an update changes the route or timing, follow the current in-game objective prompts.
