For Steam specifically, the DLC listing says it requires Football Manager 2024 on Steam. That requirement does not establish compatibility with other storefronts or platforms. The listing records a release date of 6 November 2023. The earlier Early Access period had a temporary limitation: Sports Interactive said the In-Game Editor was unavailable during Early Access. That statement does not describe the full release.
How to use it in a career
Once you have confirmed support and access to the add-on, use it from a Football Manager-mode career and work with the data the editor makes available. The official product description supports editing examples such as player attributes, current and potential ability, staff details, club finances, and reputation. It does not provide a verified FM24 click-by-click guide or establish that all fields can be changed, so exact menu labels and button sequences may vary and should not be assumed.

What should I do if In-Game Editor isn’t appearing in Football Manager?
- Verify edition and platform support. Check your precise FM24 edition against Sports Interactive’s official comparison.
- Check the base game requirement on Steam. If you are using the Steam DLC, confirm that Football Manager 2024 is also on Steam, as required by the Steam listing.
