You cannot unlock Roger Jr. in TEKKEN 8 yet. As of October 14, 2026, Roger Jr. has been announced but has not been released. A physical PS5 copy can serve as the base game, but the disc itself does not unlock Roger Jr. You still need Season Pass 3 or the individual character DLC. The same principle applies to a digital base-game purchase: ownership of the game is necessary, but it is not the character entitlement.

You own a physical copy of the game

The disc supplies the base game only. Add Season Pass 3 or the individual Roger Jr. DLC through the store for the console account that uses the disc. The physical edition does not include a hidden code or an automatic character unlock unless a particular bundle explicitly says so.
