To unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, enter Sahasra Slope Cave beneath it, break through to the small chamber directly under the tower, and use Ascend. Inside the tower, use Ultrahand to pull the sticks away from the door. Billson can then repair the terminal so you can activate the tower. You do not need to deliver mushrooms.
Where to find Sahasra Slope Cave
The tower is in West Necluda. Game8 places Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower at approximately 1341, -1176, 0166 and the cave entrance at approximately 1329, -1162, 0138 (Game8’s walkthrough). These are map waypoints rather than exact landing spots. Nintendo Life gives the tower’s approximate location as 1344, -1170, 0166 and also identifies it as being in West Necluda (Nintendo Life’s tower guide).
There is more than one entrance to Sahasra Slope Cave. Once inside, your goal is not to explore the whole cave: find the branch leading to the compact room immediately below the tower.
How to reach the chamber beneath the tower
- Enter Sahasra Slope Cave. If you need a waypoint, head for the approximate entrance coordinates above.
- Break through the rock walls. Fuse a rock to a stick or another weapon if you need a tool for smashing the breakable rock.
- At the wider part of the cave, turn toward the tower. Break through the side wall to reach the small chamber beneath it. Game8 describes turning right at the wider section; the correct direction may depend on which entrance you used, so use the tower as your guide.
- Use Ascend beneath the circular ceiling panel. Stand below it in the hidden chamber and activate Ascend to emerge inside the tower.
- Clear the door from inside. Use Ultrahand to grab and remove the long sticks blocking it.
- Speak to Billson or return to him. He repairs the terminal after the obstruction is cleared, allowing you to activate the tower.
If you end up in the wrong part of the cave
If you reach a room with enemies or continue along a broad passage deeper into the cave, you have likely gone past the intended turn. PowerPyx specifically cautions against continuing toward the enemy area and places the target chamber at approximately 1340, -1181, 0131 (PowerPyx’s tower guide). Backtrack to the wider section and look for a breakable wall on the side toward the tower; the route leads to a small room directly beneath it.

Do you need to find mushrooms for Billson?
No mushroom delivery is described as a requirement for unlocking Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. Billson’s mushroom remark points you toward exploring the cave; the unlock route is to reach the chamber below the tower, Ascend into it, and remove the door-blocking sticks with Ultrahand.
