Players could unlock Fortnite’s Appa Glider during the 2024 Avatar: Elements event by completing at least four quests in each of its six Chakra phases. That event ended on May 3, 2024, so its quest route is no longer available. Epic said the Glider might appear in the Item Shop later, but that does not confirm it is currently for sale.
How the Appa Glider unlock worked
Avatar: Elements split its quests into six phases: Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Light, and Sound. Players had to complete at least four quests from a phase to open its Chakra. Opening all six Chakras unlocked the Appa Glider. The phases launched in sequence, so the full set of quests was not available on the event’s first day.

Epic’s official event announcement put it simply: “To ‘unblock’ each Chakra, you’ll need to complete at least four Quests from that phase. Unblock all six to unlock the Appa Glider!”
Can you still complete the quests?
No. Epic’s announcement said the event ran until May 3, 2024, at 2 AM ET. That deadline has passed, so players can no longer unlock the Glider through the original Chakra quests.

How to get Appa now
Epic said the Appa Glider was not exclusive to the event and “may become purchasable in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.” This was a possibility, not a promise or confirmation of a current listing. Check the in-game Item Shop to see whether it is available now; its current status is not established here.
