Complete the required Hunter’s Journal entries, then speak to Nuu at Halfway Home in Greymoor. The cited requirement is 230 entries in Classic Mode or 231 in Steel Soul Mode; those figures are lower than the total number of entries obtainable in each mode.
Steps to get the Hunter’s Memento
- Get the Hunter’s Journal from Nuu. If you do not have it yet, find Nuu at Halfway Home in Greymoor. The Hunter’s Journal reference says Nuu gives you the Journal there.
- Complete the required creature entries. The Hunter’s Memento reference lists 230 required entries for Classic Mode and 231 for Steel Soul Mode.
- Check missing entries with Farsight. Once constructed, Farsight shows how many creatures you have encountered and the total needed. Grey slots identify unencountered required entries.
- Return to Nuu. After meeting the requirement, speak to Nuu at Halfway Home in Greymoor to receive the Memento.
- Display it at Bellhome. Interact with the desk; the Memento appears in the center of the shelving slots.

The required and obtainable totals come from the community-maintained Memento reference and Journal reference. They describe different things: an obtainable total includes entries that are not needed for this reward.

Why guides give different totals
Some guides report 235 enemies as required, while the detailed Memento and Journal references give mode-specific requirements of 230 and 231. Because the sources are community-maintained and conflict on the count, use the mode-specific requirement and exclusions above, then check Farsight in your own save if its display does not match. Do not treat the 236/237 obtainable totals as the unlock threshold.

Nuu describes the reward as “a token, a symbol of all your efforts, and a marker of your true nature,” adding that it carries “her sweet, sweet smell!” The Memento is also a Bellhome display collectible; it is not a separate Journal entry requirement.
