Get access to The Forgotten Kingdom
You need access to The Forgotten Kingdom, which includes the Invoker archetype. The DLC launched on April 23, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S; check your platform’s store for current ownership and availability. Arc Games says the DLC storyline is woven into new campaigns. For a more direct route to its content, use the Ward 13 Worldstone to start Adventure Mode and select One Shot, an Adventure populated with DLC quests, characters, enemies, and loot. Find the Old Flute in Ancient Canopy

In Yaesha’s Ancient Canopy, follow the main route until you lower the large stone stairway.

Go down to ground level and find the doorway leading to a chamber with arrow traps and quicksand.

Look for a swirling, sparkling quicksand pile. Stand in it and wait to be pulled under. The Remnant 2 Wiki.gg currently gives a wait of about one minute.

In the hidden chamber, loot the Old Flute. The Disciple armor set is also in the quicksand room, but it is optional and not needed to unlock the Invoker. Remnant 2 Wiki.gg’s Invoker acquisition instructions

Turn the Old Flute into the Invoker engram
Return to Wallace in Ward 13 and give him the Old Flute for crafting. He makes the Spirit Flute engram, which unlocks the Invoker archetype. Remnant 2 Wiki.gg’s Spirit Flute page

The wiki notes that the trigger may fail if you are carrying an Engineer heavy weapon or have archetype summons active. Put away the heavy weapon, dismiss or avoid summons, and try standing in a marked swirling pile again. This is community-reported troubleshooting, not an official publisher support instruction.
