The lounge is power-gated; the guides do not describe a key, combat encounter, or NPC trigger as the unlock condition. Exact tower placement can vary with terrain and elevation, so treat the route as a connected power chain rather than a fixed tower count.
Route power from The Hub Base into the quarry
- Start at The Hub Base in Valley IV. This is the source identified for the route in the GamerHour guide.
- Build a connected Relay Tower chain toward the quarry entrance. Place each tower within active transmission range of the previous one. If the link does not carry power, adjust the placement; terrain or elevation can interrupt transmission.
- Continue through the quarry’s pathways. The route described by GamerHour passes through the Transfer Area, Lifter Central, and Loading Area. Keep extending the chain through the internal paths rather than stopping at the entrance.
- Supply the Stockpile Area power point. GamerHour identifies this as the key destination; GameWith describes restoring the entrance Electric Nexus. The guides present these as the power activation needed for the staff facilities.
- Return to the Staff Lounge entrance and interact with the gate. Once the nearby power nexus is active, the entrance should be usable.
GamerHour estimates around ten relay connections for its route, but that is not a fixed requirement: the number depends on where towers can be placed and whether each connection remains in range.

If the entrance is still inactive
- Check the chain from the Hub onward for any tower that is inactive or outside transmission range.
- Reposition towers where terrain or elevation appears to interrupt a link.
- Confirm that the Stockpile Area power point or entrance Electric Nexus visibly received power; reaching the quarry is not enough if the target node remains unpowered.

What to do after entering
GameWith reports that Lonnard is inside the Staff Lounge and sells a Worn Key Card for 100 Valley Stock Bills. Game8 reports a Worn Keycard from Lonnard for 100 Stock Bills; it opens a gate at the Listening Post in Aburrey Quarry. The item name is spelled differently across the guides, so check the in-game label.
