In Arknights: Endfield, a transport-belt Splitter takes items from one incoming belt and divides their flow among up to three outgoing belts. Use it to branch an existing supply line to multiple facilities; it does not combine several incoming belts or create additional products.
What the Splitter does—and what “multiple inputs” means
The Splitter is a branching facility: one transport belt feeds it, and up to three belts carry items away toward separate destinations. The official tutorial describes that one-to-many direction. If you need to bring several supply lines together, that is a different logistics function; do not connect them expecting a Splitter to merge them.

A branch redistributes the items already being produced. It cannot increase production, so facilities sharing a line may run short if the producer does not supply enough for their combined needs.

How to set up a Splitter
- Choose a working producer. It should already be making the item needed by the facilities you plan to supply. Without production, there is no flow for the Splitter to distribute.
- Route a transport belt from the producer’s output. Extend the belt to the location where you want the supply line to branch.
- Select and place the Splitter. The official tutorial says to select it from the Facility List or place it from the facilities hotbar. Exact placement controls can depend on the live game interface.
- Connect the outgoing belts. Route each branch to the intended downstream facility’s input port. A Splitter can serve up to three outgoing belts.
- Check the flow. Watch for items moving along the branches and confirm that each receiving facility is getting the input it needs.
Diagnose a branch that is not supplying facilities
- No items reach the Splitter: Check that the producer is operating and that its output belt is connected to the correct port.
- A belt or facility shows a clog warning: The official tutorial notes that a clogged facility stops loading or unloading and displays warning indicators. Check the belt connections and facility ports before rebuilding the line.
- Some connected facilities are short on materials: The Splitter divides the available flow; it does not raise the producer’s output. Check whether production can meet the combined demand of the facilities on the branches.
- The connection is unclear: In release notes dated January 17, 2026, the developers described clearer visual feedback for belt and pipe connections, along with improvements to mobile top-view mode and belt construction. Those notes describe that release preview, not necessarily the current interface.
Splitter unlock path
The community-maintained Endfield Talos Wiki reports this path: Basic AIC Plan → Basic AIC II → Belt Splitting. Check the current AIC Plan in game, since the official tutorial material available for this guide does not independently confirm that research sequence.
#1 Best Overall
Transport-belt Splitter vs. Pipe Splitter
| Facility | What it branches | Outgoing lines |
|---|---|---|
| Transport-belt Splitter | Items carried on one incoming transport belt | Up to three transport belts |
| Pipe Splitter | Fluid carried through a pipeline | Two or three pipelines |
Keep the two systems distinct: use the transport-belt Splitter for item logistics and the Pipe Splitter for fluid logistics.
