In Pokémon Reborn, enter a password during the opening train sequence when starting a save, or activate or deactivate one later from a PC using a Data Chip. Later changes cost one chip each, so check what a password does—and whether it is reversible—before applying it.
Choose when to enter the password

The community password reference and a walkthrough describe both entry points. The walkthrough also describes finding a Data Chip in North Peridot Ward; treat that as a location tip, not a complete list of chip locations.
Change a password on an existing save
- Obtain a Data Chip.
- Interact with a PC.
- Choose the password option, then select the password you want to activate or deactivate.
- Allow one Data Chip for that change.
A Data Chip is an in-game item. The cited item reference says one chip is required each time you change a password.
Check the password before using it
Passwords can affect different parts of a playthrough, including quality of life, difficulty, and field settings. Some can have lasting consequences: the community reference warns that certain passwords can disable portions of online play even after deactivation, and that a few are irreversible.

- Read the entry’s effect and any warnings.
- Check whether it can be reversed and whether it affects online play.
- Confirm that the entry applies to your game version. The reference records additions through version 19.5; do not assume every listed password works in every build.
Is “blindstep” a general password?
No. The PkReborn-Access project README gives blindstep as a mod-specific instruction: when asked for special instructions, choose “Yes” and enter that code to enable the project’s in-game accessibility features. It is not presented as a setting required for all Pokémon Reborn players. See the PkReborn-Access README for that project’s setup.
